My name is David and this is my daughter Maddie. We bought this cabin in 2011 hoping that by the time Maddie is ready for college it might help pay for it! Maddie is in the 5th grade. We would love to have you and your family stay in our cabin.
Christy Evers purchased this cabin in 2011
Booked this cabin with 4 adults and 4 kids. First to actually give the fire/police discount much appreciated! We had a great time, so much so that we called and asked for an extra day last minute and Christy easily accommodated our request and the kids cheered. Kids enjoyed walking around in hopes of finding the bear we were told might be up there (never saw it! ) packman game upstairs was fun for all. The cabin was so clean even the top of the fridge. Easy to get to after the first white knuckle trip up the mountain. Hot tub and a great view while kids enjoyed the movie room.
Would love to rent here again.
We rented Night in the Wild for a Bachelorette weekend getaway for our friend who is getting married next month. We chose this cabin because the pictures were beautiful and it had all of the amenities we were looking for such as a hot tub, an amazing view, extra bedrooms, and a movie theater. When we arrived, the cabin was just as beautiful as in the pictures with no detail overlooked. You really don't need to bring anything with you because the cabin is fully stocked including toilet paper, bar soap, paper towels, coffee filters, extra pillows and blankets, and plenty of towels, and the WiFi was very reliable. We spent a lot of time gathered around the kitchen island and on the deck enjoying the view.
Both the living room and the theater room were full of recliners, four in each room, and the cabin was equipped with large screen televisions throughout. The system in the theater room was very easy to use as it was connected through the Blu-ray player at the back of the room. The Blu-ray player was WiFi enabled and showed the option of Netflix, but I couldn't figure out how to connect it to the internet in the settings. There was a fully equipped bedroom and full bathroom on each of the three floors with the king bed on the lowest level, deep jetted tubs in two of the bathrooms, and a large shower in the third bathroom.
The roads to the cabin once you left Upper Middle Creek Road were very windy with a few drop-offs but the roads were completely paved with thick curbs on some and after the first trip up the mountain we got used to them. The cabin seems like it is at a pretty high point on the mountain, and the view reflects it. It took us about 15 minutes to get to and from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and we found that most of our travels had us using Teaster Lane instead of the Parkway due to the location. We had a great time hanging out at The Island and visiting Dick's Last Resort, Ole Smoky Moonshine, and even doing the Rocky Top Wine Trail tasting for our free souvenir glass.
We really have nothing but positive things to say about the cabin from the comfortable furniture to the professional and modern but rustic decor and the fact that every need is met. We are so grateful to Christy for working with us and letting us have this weekend in her cabin.
We had the best weekend in the cabin! The owners were awesome. We spent most of our weekend hanging out at the cabin and watching the Citadel beat South Carolina in the theater room-go Bulldogs! Downtown was very close with many things to do and places to eat. I can't say enough good things about this place!
My wife and I just spent 6 nights and 7 days in the night in the wild cabin in pigeon forge. I know the price is higher than other rentals, but you get what you pay for. The outside deck is very spacious and the cowboy grill makes you think of the early pioneers in a modern setting without skinning your own meats. The interior was just like the pictures but better. I was concerned about the water there but quickly lost that thought after the tap was turned on and the ice maker provided perfect cubes. We arrived late Sunday afternoon, unpacked and headed to food city to buy groceries. Spent about $300 on groceries and ate like kings and queens. The theatre room is beyond reproach and the 80" flat screen and Yamaha surround sound was better than commercial theaters.
When we planned for this trip we brought a ton of different spices, our favorite skillet and the bacon cooker for the microwave. I'm glad we did. Kitchen very well stocked with cookware. Microwave bacon cooker was not there. Dishes were just fine. Toaster needs some attention. Oven and stove very clean and efficient.
The decor will tell you on first glance the owner has a lot of pride is his cabin and it shows.
My wife says don't write a review too good because more people will want to stay there and it will be harder to go back being to popular. I say, an owner that loves his cabin like David
Does should be celebrated and christy as his right hand man/woman is a pleasure in customer service.
Thanks David and Christy and we wish you and your family a
Charlie & Nancy.
Cabin was just like in the pictures if not better!
Christy was great to work with she communicated quickly to all my emails etc.
Although we did not have kids we did use the game room..(lol)...
I would highly recommend the cabin for others to use whether for a couples getaway, a girls getaway or for families this cabin is GREAT!
We have stayed in many cabins in Pigeon Forge and this by far was the best! Christy was very easy to work with, kitchen was very well stocked (you don't need to bring a thing as far as cooking supplies go, just the food), the beds were very comfortable and the view was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! The kids loved the theater room and the games. I HIGHLY recommend this cabin!!!
