Wonderful Quaint Farmers Market 3 Minutes Fr. Unit: Enjoy homemade cooking, if you don't feel like dining out, by visiting the local Farmers Market that takes place every Wednesday & Saturday mornings! Definitely worth a visit. 3 minute walk from the Condo. You can even see it from the Terrace! Buy fresh local vegetables, or browse through the jewellery stands.

We fell in love with Cabo the first time we vacationed their in 2010 and loved it so much we ended up buying this condo which we love! It's in a gorgeous location with stunning views.. away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to everything. We have access to a pool and have the most stunning sunsets from our Balcony. It's sooo peaceful.

Great condo in Cabo

We had a great time in Cabo highlighted by the condo. Zaruri was nice and welcomed us in. The place was clean and was fully loaded. I recommend this condo.

Fantastic Trip!

We had a great time staying at Portofino! The condo is lovely and great views from the balcony. It's a nice walk to town and the pool is lovely. Would recommend hiring a car for at least a few days and do the day trips Surj and Tej recommend. The waterfalls were our favourite!

Hope to come back here in the future!

Loved the condo!

Stayed at the condo for ten nights, it was perfect for four women. The location was close to the centre but far enough away from all the city noise at night.The walk to and from the Marina and beach was easy for us, and the hill really is not that steep! The view from the balcony was spectacular. We did use the bbq, ( a very nice one) and enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. We also did pre-order some food items through the property manager, Zayuri who is very lovely. The TV never did get turned on our entire stay so cannot comment on it ; ) why watch t.v. when you can be outside? We did indulge and had massages on the balcony four times, the number is on the fridge totally a must do. Rosy and Carmen are the best, we all are missing them! We did use nice ride Cabo to and from the airport and they were on time both ways, driver was very nice.Would love to stay at this clean, lovely and safe condo in the future. The owner was very easy to work with ,thank you for letting us share your home Surj!

Best New Years Vacation

Thanks so much for the wonderful accommodations. Our group enjoyed our stay. Since we traveled by taxi our location was perfect and affordable. The view was amazing. I most enjoyed the quite surrounding of the condo after the hustle, and partying in the downtown area. We took Cabo Ride to and from the airport. We paid for an extra hour of time to stop at the Walmart for any thing we might have forgotten Since there are other Portofino's they had trouble finding the Condos. No problem, we arrived! We used the Prick Pear food delivery. I would order from them again in a heart beat. Not only did they fill our order with quality groceries they took them to the Condo and unpacked them in our kitchen. So worth the money!

On New Year's Eve we booked dinner at the Solamars Las Roca. It was a set menu. Kind of pricey but well worth it. So elegant. The sound of the ocean was amazing. I wish I had known about the other restaurant there. They really had the New Years Bash. The dinner would have been more expensive for dinner, but that included a band , fire on the beach and marshmallows and fireworks at midnight. I think you have to book way ahead for that.

We booked another dinner at the Resort at Pedregal. That place is so beautiful. First class. Dinner serving were so large you could share and still be happy. Each time we go to Cabo it just gets better and better.

Thanks again for everything. We hope to see you all again next year!

perfect view and well-equipped condo!

We were 3 couples on this trip and everyone felt comfortable as the condo is very roomy and well equipped with everything you need even beach equipment. It is one of the first condominiums as you enter pedregal and if you wanted to walk to downtown you can, i would just recommend taking a taxi back up since it is located on a steep hill. If you walk its probably about 20 minutes to downtown where all of the restaurants and bars are at. Probably another 10-15 minutes to the beach. Kitchen was functional and was equipped with anything you can imagine needing i.e. blender, lots of pots and pans, all kitchen utensils, even a juicer. Balcony was large and had an amazing view of the city and beach. Also has a gas grill. Beds were really comfortable and restrooms were updated and roomy. I loved the individual bath robes! There are 2 flights of stairs to get to the condo from the parking lot so beware to the handicapped. My only con would be the fact that we HAD to do towel laundry and pick up after ourselves in order to receive the deposit. It was stressful the day of departure as we wanted to make sure we followed everything on the checklist as much as possible before leaving to the airport. Other than that the stay was great!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. We are soo glad that you enjoyed your stay in our condo and found everything you needed to be comfortable and at home. This is our vacation home as well and as such we furnish our condo with everything we feel we need to have a relaxing vacation with our family & friends. This is how we gauge our guests' experience as well and has helped us have such a high rating. I know how busy it can be on the day of departure and I apologize for any unnecessary stress that our exiting checklists may have caused. I have tried to be clear and concise about what needs to be done before leaving so there is no confusion about how the condo must be left when you leave. Regarding the laundry. As a privately owned condo our laundry is not sourced out but is done using our washer & dryer in the unit which are not the large size that we are used to back at home. We are a large 3-bedroom condo and a lot of laundry accumulates all of which must be washed & dried before our next guests arrive. We respectfully ask that the beach towels you use are washed,dried & put away the day before as usually guests are not going to the beach on the day of departure. On the day you are due to leave we ask that you start a load of laundry IF you can so our housekeeper has a head-start in addition to removing the bedding off of the beds and putting them on top of the beds so our housekeeper understand which sheets need to be washed. This is a task that takes only a few minutes by each couple occupying the room but is a huge time-saver and allows our housekeeper to focus more on cleaning the condo and maintaining the standards of cleanliness we ask of her. Years of experience owning the condo and appreciating what our housekeeper must do to keep our condo clean and tidy means I must also try and understand what issues they have. They have a limited period of time and drying takes a long time and can extend past the numbers of hours she has to clean the condo - the reason thereby I have asked our guests' for their assistance. Staying in a private home is not like a hotel or resort that operate around the clock with housekeeping available at all times so the expectations are different about the condition in which you leave it. You will find most private vacation rental owners will ask for your assistance in way or another. I hope this better explains why we ask our guests to help us out. Best condo ever!

Our stay in this condo was just great!

The condo is stocked with all you need, and the view is beautiful.

All is there: towels, cleaning stuff, soap, never been to a place as well stocked as this condo!

The condo is spacious, we stayed with 4 adults and 2 children, with games and even a PS2.

We used the larger swimming pool on a daily base, the smaller pool was in the shade most of the day, and because of that the water was a bit on the cold site.

The private beach is beautiful, and was almost deserted during our stay, the walk to the beach is a very nice walk through the Pedregal fraccionamiento.

Over here you are on the perfect spot, just far enough from center to live quiet, but just a short walk away from it.

The owners are very considerate and understanding, and did their best to help in any way, both over the phone as in paper, by means of a “things to do” map in the condo.

Also the conformation mail contained useful tips, and things to do.

We encountered some minor problems, but the property manager was always available, and arranged a helping hand within a very short time.

The cleaning lady was such a helping hand, she also had some nice tips for us, for shopping and getting around.

Centre and the marina are a short walk away, and we walked there every day.

The walk back is mostly uphill, and after a night out it’s a nice work out to lose some of the calories!

Our favorite spots where: El Squid Roe for drinks and entertainment, La Casa Country (at the marina) for drinks and a bite, La Pintada (previously Ramuri) the best beer and delicious food, Patagonia Argentinian meat, and for breakfast Penny Lane just around the corner (try the Chilaquiles).

For daily shopping you have to go a bit further away, whenever you go to a Mexican supermarket, such as Soriana, Aurrera, or Mega, you will find the local taxis, not the big red, green or blue ones.

These will charge you between 70 to 120 pesos ($5-$8), while the big taxis will charge you $20.

Sometimes these taxis will also pick you up at the apartment.

Officially these taxis are not allowed to pick up people in the city center, but if you tell them to pick you up at the condo mostly they don’t see a problem in that.

Off course it helps when you speak Spanish.

All in all: staying in this condo helped us have one of our best vacations ever.

For sure it was the best condo we stayed in ever!

The Portofino Condo Complex is located in a gated community in Cabo San Lucas known as Pedregal. Our Unit is nestled on the slope rising from the Cabo San Lucas Marina. Many unique and elegant homes are located in Pedregal. Close enough to hear the sounds of the Cabo San Lucas buzz during the day, and electricity of the nightlife in the evening. But far away enough to relax and enjoy your vacation at your own pace.

50% payable in advance with the balance inc. the damage deposit due 60 days prior to arrival. We will only refund your prepaid rent (50%) if the property is rerented for the same time period or we have enough reservations over the same time period to cover the rental revenue that you would have paid. Once your reservation has been confirmed and booking deposit received, any cancellations will be subject to this policy.

Cleaning fees will be clearly communicated by landlords.
