Clean and well located

  • 4 of 5

Stairs are very steep and narrow, my older in-laws had a little trouble, great for two people that have no mobility issues. LOVED the location!!

It was okay

  • 3 of 5

Location was fantastic. We loved the historic aspect of the area. Parking added a significant cost ($35 a day). Stairs were an issue. Unit was 4 flights up but the stairs were steep and tilted and had short treads. Only one set of keys and that was a challenge at times. Television was awful, small with very few options to watch.

Owner's Response: We are so sorry you feel that way, Donna. Like all major international cities, parking is at a premium. Most brownstone condominiums also do not have elevators. We also provide full cable and Apple television. Extra keys and indeed anything else is always available via a call, text, or email to the property manager, as he lives next door.

Very convenient location!

  • 3 of 5

The location was great! The apartment was cute ( with the exception of the carpet on the stairs in the shared hallway where you have to walk to the apartment. That stunk like animal urine to us ). The 3 stars instead of 5 is because the bed wasn't comfortable and it was a "good" place just nothing spectacular.

Location, location, location

From Logan, take the Blue Line subway ($2.25 pp)to its terminus at Bowdoin, walk two blocks. This apt has everything you need, perfect for two, tight for more. A climb of four short floors is worth it if you enjoy authentic apts with character. You are two blocks off Cambridge Ave, right in the middle of everything--use it to explore Boston--and use the T.

Especially enjoyed the "Boston in One Day" bus tour--around town and also to Cambridge and Lexington on Concord.
