Excellent vacation! Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. The condo is extremely convenient to all the shops and restaurants in Seacrest. It's also a very short walk to Rosemary Beach next door (literally right next to this building). We didn't use the pool on this trip but it appears to be brand new with a kids pool, adult pool and hot tub right behind this building. The condo was immaculate and Josh with 30A Vacay was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend and will be coming back this summer! Thanks again!
We stayed here in May. Pricing is good. However, upon arrival- bed sheets were dirty with sand/black grit and cockroach was on bed in master bedroom. Manager wasn't very helpful. We were exhausted from a days travel- and at 10:00 at night found the cockroach and dirty beds. Manager just told us to wash sheets. Offered $50-$100 refund for inconvenience. We asked for the refund while we were there to enjoy on our trip- they couldn't do that. We NEVER saw the reimbursement. The white couch was also disgusting and dingy with stains all over it. Need better housekeeping, and be cautious of cockroaches. We even took a picture and sent to the manager.
We were there for the Seaside half-marathon and the location was perfect and the condo was excellent. The condo was clean and well-maintained. We only stayed for the weekend for the run but enjoyed it tremendously.
You are right next door to Rosemary beach. The owner does need to look at some upgrades. There are no flat screen TV's in the condo really old TV's. Water stains on the ceiling in the family room. Max is 6 to stay here. Great location. Little bit of a walk if you don't take the tram to the beach. Invest in headboard for master bedroom and new comforters for the bedrooms. I shared all my concerns with the property manager on email and still haven't gotten a response. Good value for the location.
This condo is exceptionally convenient! Everything you need is within walking distance. The owners provide a great book with menus from a number of the area restaurants with comments on their favorites. Park your car and spend your whole visit walking, or pedaling. However, the trade-off for the convenience is that it is a noisy location. If you are comfortable in a city location this will not be a problem, but if you are looking for a quiet escape, keep the patio and windows closed knowing you will still hear occasional car and people traffic from 30A.
The pictures accurately reflect the rental. The decor is tasteful. It is equipped with the basics to cook if you would rather not eat out. Six people will be quite cozy in this condo. The property manager was very responsive to our requests and questions. The property is in good condition, but not excellent. It was clean, but there were a few maintenance items that need attention. We reported them to the property manager to be addressed.
Overall it was a good stay and we would return.
My family stayed at The Wellington April 13-20. We had a great time! The condo is very well furnished and the location is great. It absolutely is two floors above Seacrest Sundries. If the floor fell through you would be eating breakfast.
My only comment related to the condo is the "gulf view". I guess technically it is accurate, but I'm going on a technicality. The truth is you can see a small sliver of the water if you tilt your neck to the side a bit and look around a tree and through the roofs of Rosemary. Don't get me wrong, the view is really cool. You're just looking at the rooftops of Rosemary and the other high dollar dwellings, not the beach.
The walk to the ocean or Seacrest Pool is not too bad. They have a tram that was great. If you come back after tram hours the walk is about 10 minutes with a 21 month old. He did it a couple times and had no problem.
Overall this was a great place to stay. The location is great and the price is right.
