Why Rick Ruscin chose Cape Coral

I grew up in Cape Coral and moved to Ohio in 1985. When my wife and I retire, we plan to live in our penthouse condo full-time.

What makes this condo unique

The Marina View building is the 'crème de la crème' of Cape Harbour. It has its own private pool, hot tub and BBQ grill. In addition, our unit is a penthouse, so it has 14 foot ceilings, 11 foot sliding glass doors, upgraded kitchen and a private garage.

Cape Harbour is just a 3 ½ mile sail to the Gulf of Mexico and is part of a 400-mile network of fresh and saltwater canals through Cape Coral, making it the ultimate vacation destination.

Whether it is boating or fishing, golf or baseball, Southwest Florida has a vast range of leisure activities your entire family will enjoy.

The area is alive with possibilities. You may opt for a day of golf, shopping at the Marina’s exclusive galleries and boutiques; take a drive to Naples; spend an evening at the theaters and performing arts centers; or take in such attractions as the Edison and Ford Winter Estates in nearby Fort Myers. Dear Rick,

Our deepest appreciation for the opportunity to stay at your Cape Harbour home these past 10 days. An incredible home!

Regarding the home - extremely well-appointed. Very nice furniture throughout, the 16" tile in the common areas & the bathrooms is sharp & the supply of stoneware, glasses, pots/pans, etc. - just perfect! The master suite - we loved the spaciousness! Emma (16 months old) had her portable bed in the his/her walk-in closet - perfect! Lucy (almost 5) loved that back bedroom for "privacy from Mom & Dad" to watch her iPad We did our best to leave it spotless for you.

Regarding the views - I don't know if $1,000,000 does the view justice - it's just incredible. We loved spending time on patio (high railing, fully-screened). Erin loved the higher railing & the full screens - we had 100% confidence in allowing the girls to spend time on the patio by themselves as we kept an eye on them from the dining room table. Nearly every night was a gorgeous sunset! The direct view of the marina / harbour area was great for creating excitement for our girls (there's another boat going out!).

Regarding the grounds/harbour area - special! We noted several times how the grounds were immaculate. Having restaurants (Rumrunners - half a block away & Fathoms - 100 steps?) that close was great. We picked up meals multiple times & enjoyed on the patio.....we realize we visited during the offseason, but we loved the peace and tranquility. Of particular note for parents with kids, we LOVED the pool. At the shallow end, three or four steps allowed our girls to slowly get into the pool. On the one side, there's a secondary shelf that allowed our youngest (16 months) to walk-along the edge of the pool & enjoy the pool with her sister.

Regarding location, could not have asked for more convenience. Walkable restaurants. Publix (main grocery store) is one mile away. Walgreens is one mile away, too. From the Punta Gorda airport (Allegiant Air), 40 minutes from door-to-door. We visited Sanibel one day - it was 30 minutes from the condo - so easy!

Regarding value / working with you - tremendous value. We really appreciated how prompt you were with responses to our questions, the "One-Week-Out" instructions were perfect, loved all of the smaller touches in the condo that made it great for us. Highly recommended!

Again, our sincerest appreciation and thanks - we hope to return again in 2017!

Cape Coral Paradise Vacation

The condo exceeded our expectations. There was every possible item in the kitchen that we could possibly have needed. The decor was beautiful and location awesome. We really appreciated the ease with which we were able to just start enjoying vacation as soon as we opened the door.

We were a little confused with the entry instructions. We didn't realize the lock box was on the Penthouse floor so once we were in the entryway, we were confused as to what to do next. Other than clarifying those instructions, I can't think of another thing that could be improved upon..

We loved the location, the pool, the beautiful sunsets and having the shops and restaurants right on the property. We are hoping to be able to enjoy your hospitality again soon.

Best Place to stay in Cape Coral!!

Anyone who knows Cape Coral knows Cape Harbour is the place to be!

If Ricks condo is available for your travel dates consider yourself Extremely Lucky!

Aside for the the AWSOME location, you also get an AWSOME view of the harbour from this Penhouse condo.

The condo has soaring 14 foot ceilings with 12' high sliders along the whole outside wall including the master bedroom which also has remote control roll down blinds.

The King Master Bed was very comfortable with premium bedding and fluffy pillows.

The kitchen with granite counter tops was well stocked with everything one would need.

There were plenty of quality towels in all bathrooms.

The condo as a whole was very tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable.

My husband and I had to came down to Cape Coral at the last minute and cannot thank Rick enough for being so quick at responding to our needs and accommodating us!

We wouldn't just recommend yous stay here we encourage you to, as we can almost guarantee you will not be disappointed.

The listing for your condo is very accurate. This is a top-notch place to stay in Cape Coral. Our jaws hit the floor when we opened the door. This was our first time in this part of Florida. We enjoyed the restraurants, especially RumRunners for their great rum drinks, Hobo's in Pine Key for a great home-style breakfast, Key Island Bistro in Captiva for the best Key Lime Pie ever and Papa Joe's in downtown for authentic Italian food to name a few!

We enjoyed biking Sanabel Island from top to bottom several times. We also spent a morning at the Edison/Ford museum and toured the River District in downtown Fort Myers, Our favorite activity was fishing with Venture Out Charters. We both caught red fish too big to keep. I managed at the end to bring in a small mackeral that made the most delicious dinner. We swam at Fort Myers beach and the Sanibel island beaches, both of which were gorgeous.

We would love to return as this is a most wonderful place to kick back and enjoy Florida at its best!
