I have been vacationing in Treasure Cay Since 1974. I love the way it remains the way it has always been. I come back and see my friends and make new ones every year. It is a great place to get together with my friends, family, and associates from around the U.S. and World.
Dean Arnold purchased this condo in 2001
Bahama Beach Club and Treasure Cay Amenities Spectacular 3 1/2 mile powder-white beach 18 Holes of Championship Golf On-premises beachfront resort bar and grill Car, boat, scooter and golf cart rentals Boating, fishing, golf, snorkeling, scuba diving, tennis
One thing that separates my condo from all the others in Bahama Beach Club is the boardwalk down to the beach right outside my door. We built the boardwalk to make the beach wheelchair accessible.
Our Emerge 6 passenger street legal Golf Cart is available as an option.
We have caretakers that live nearby for any unforeseen situations, and they are locals that have a taxi service, and know everything about the area, and the condo.
Our condo has a generator in case there is a power outage.
Thank You for checking in. Arrived just fine, Jackie on top of everything. Your home is lovely and is just perfect for our needs. We are very glad we found you and are able to rent your beautiful home.
This was our fifth visit to Treasure Cay but our first time staying at BBC and The Arnold's unit. It is SO convenient being a guest there!
We had a 5 week stay and are so glad we decided to rent from Dean. We were a little concerned about the lack of privacy, being a condo development, having only rented houses in TC before, but this unit was perfect for our family. The side lawn, the lanai, the boardwalk and deck, the covered car park was all utilized and really felt private.
The unit itself may not be as new as others but it makes up for that in location. Who hangs out inside anyways?
There is lots of room inside if you have a rainy day though. The kitchen is also very spacious with lots of seating for everyone and company.
We made a lot of new friends this year and reconnected with old ones, the staff at BBC is awesome!
We cannot wait to return!

Fantastic place for our girls getaway. The screen porch has a beautiful view of the beach. Great place to hang out for long talks with five of your best college buds. Very roomy for six people. Kitchen is functional. Cant beat the location and amenities at Bahamas Beach Club.
The beach is absolutely beautiful. There are chairs and umbrellas available as well as kayaks and paddle boards. The condo also has floats and snorkel equipment. It's very quiet--when we were there, there was only one other family on the beach. The condo itself is beautiful and clean and Dean is responsive. We spent most of the time in the lanai and barbequed several times (including fish we caught). Everything was convenient and super cool to just use the golf cart to go everywhere. The area is really expensive, which is typical of the Bahamas. Your best bet is to shop in Marsh Harbour before going to Treasure Cay. Don't assume the condo has anything, even though some of the reviews talked about it being well equipped (probably depends on who was there before and what they left). We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels, bar soap, even salt. Luckily I had brought a couple Tide pods for laundry. The harbor is close and we would definitely recommend the Captain Mark tour to swim with the pigs and the stingrays. Also, don't miss pizza night at the Tipsy Seagull. We made the mistake of going out to dinner that night and were the only group there. The waiter said everyone was at pizza night.
Best condo location at Bahama Beach Club. Step out the screen porch & you are on the beach. Walk up pool bar right next door with great food as well. Condo is very spacious, kitchen has all the necessary cookware, utensils, etc. & a carport for your golf cart. Only shortcomings were direct tv was not accessible & generator did not kick in the one time we lost power for a short period. However we did have the local cable network & who goes to abaco islands to watch tv anyway. If you go to the out islands, it is not always perfect, but all that is offset by the beauty & tranquility. Again, great condo & outstanding location.
We stayed 10 days at the Arnold cottage and found it comfortable and Ideally located for getting around Treasure Cay. The views and the beach both were amazing! The location of the condo in proximity to the beach made it ideal for lunch, bathroom, breaks, etc. The beach is literally a stones throw away... We definitely would recommend this condo to family and friends, as well as would definitely go back.
Thanks to Dean for all of his help in making our vacation such a wonderful time!

Let me start with this condo has many positives: You can't beat staying on the first floor and the boardwalk to the beach chairs is very convenient. Loved the screened-in lanai, we spent most of our time there when not on the beach. The beds were very comfortable. The wireless internet was just for this unit and worked well. Others staying at the property, who were using the resort Wi-Fi, said it was awful. T caretaker was very nice and having her pick you up from the airport is really convenient too.
But this listing needs to be updated to reflect what has changed in the last several years. What compelled me to write this review in the first place was our biggest problem... THE BACK UP GENERATOR DOES NOT WORK! We were told it was common for TC to have power outages. As my husband had to conduct business on a daily basis I specifically went looking for a condo/house that had a back-up generator. We had power outages three different times in the 10 days we were there. Twice it affected my husbands ability to conduct business and once it ruined our breakfast, as we were in the middle of cooking, and the power did not come back on for several hours. When the first outage hit, we went looking for the generator, found it, and realized the gas was turned off to the unit. When we couldn't get ahold of the caretaker we called the resort front desk to see if they knew why. We were informed the generator didn't work as far as they knew. Needless to say this was very frustrating and the statement that there is one needs to be removed from the listing. Also the large stainless grill pictured is no longer there. There is a grill but it is much smaller. The 180 degree view pictured has changed as well. Although still excellent, it is more like a 90 degree view as there now is a dune and shrubbery blocking the left hand side of the lanai. I may sound picky, but I have rented from VRBO multiple times and rely heavily on the pictures, what is listed under amenities, and reviews to make my decision where to stay.
Although the unit does show some wear and needs some maintenance, (oven, dryer, hot water on one of the master sinks, broken switch on only lamp in guest room) and having no generator caused frustration, none of it ruined our vacation and WITH THE RIGHT EXPECTATIONS this unit is definitely worth the rent solely based on the best location at Bahama Beach Club!
The Bahama Beach Club is the premier Bahamas resort, a resort attuned to perfection.
Envision yourself plunging into the intimate waters of an aquamarine sea, strolling along silken white sand, floating sun-drenched in a freshwater pool, luxuriating in a revitalizing jacuzzi, sipping Bahama Mamas, Goombay Smashes, and Rum Punches at an in-pool or island beach bar, or tasting fresh ocean delicacies. Imagine lying in the shade of palm fronds refreshed by trade-wind breezes blown in from the Caribbean. Visualize yourself taking deep breaths of serenity.
At Bahama Beach Club, we provide the class of service expected at a lavish Bahamas condo rental, and the space and privacy of a vacation home. Bahama Beach Club has taken great lengths to ensure your privacy by limiting the number of condo units to four per building.
Other Activities: Shopping, Kayaking, Shelling, Wildlife Viewing
Golf: Play a round of golf on the 72-par, 6,985 yards, Dick Wilson designed golf course. The front nine runs parallel to the ocean at the north end of Treasure Cay Resort and plays relatively straight forward with two par fives of 555 and 500 yards from the white tees The back nine is tighter, requiring more precision and thought with slightly more water in play. A couple of duck ponds (with interesting wildlife) represent minor hazards, particularly on number 11, a 515-yard par 5.
Despite its length, the course at Treasure Cay can be played inside three hours.
Golf carts are available and the course is generally uncrowded. No tee times are necessary. It can also be walked with pull cart by those with more time seeking a bit more exercise
