We invite you to escape away from it all to our piece of paradise. Just across the street from one of the best beaches in Maui.

Our condo is on the 3rd floor and an end unit, which makes it very quiet and with the extra window makes it very open and bright. We have a partial ocean view from the very large lanai. There is a Central AC split system with separate controllers for the living room and bedroom. Also ceiling fans in in both rooms. We also have a in-wall fan in the bedroom for those days the AC is not needed.

The condo has one bedroom and 2 baths, that will sleep 4. A queen bed in the bedroom, along with a queen sofa sleeper in the living room for the extra guests or kids. The extra bath is very nice to have with 4 people. The tile floors throughout makes it very beach friendly. The kitchen has just been fully remodeled and it looks fantastic. It is fully supplied for your home cooked meals. There is a new Flat Screen TV & DVD in both the bedroom and living room. Have a iPhone, iPod? We have a stereo for it as well. There is free High Speed Internet/WiFi in the condo so you can stay connected to do any work that may be needed. The 'extra' large lanai has a table and seating for 4 along with a futon for lounging while taking in the view. Best of all our lanai faces south-west, which means we do not get the Hot afternoon sun. You can sit on the lanai all day long and be very comfortable.

The condo has its own washer and dryer for your convenience. For families with 'little ones', cribs and other items are available for rental, just inquire when booking.

The Kamaole Sands complex offers 15 acres of lush landscaping, fountains, ponds, tropical flowers and birds. There are 5 barbecue pavilions with Webber Gas Grills and picnic tables located throughout the complex. The large pool, kiddie pool and 2 Jacuzzi’s with adjacent refreshment area, along with ping pong and foosball tables makes it very family friendly. There is also an air conditioned exercise room. Also, don't forget the 4, very well maintained tennis courts. You can even sign up if your looking for a tennis partner. The front desk can also arrange child care. If you need to stay connected and you left your lap top at home, not to worry, there are computers for your use in the lobby.

The morning after your arrival, there is a complimentary continental breakfast at 8:30 by the pool where you will be informed of the many activities offered on Maui. There is always a complimentary newspaper awaiting you there as well. On Wednesday evening, join other guests for the Mai Tai Party by the pool. With Hawaiian music and hula dances, it will put you in the Hawaiian spirit. (ID required) but everyone is invited.

Just a short walk away is Kihei Village, where you will find shopping and the many different restaurants. Also, don't forget the wonderful shopping at 'The Shops at Wailea', just 5 minutes away. For the golfers, the golfing at Wailea's Gold, Emerald and Blue courses offer great golfing and fantastic ocean views.

Kamaole Sands offers many on-site activities, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Located right across from Kamaole Beach III with it's sandy beach and clean clear water, makes snorkeling, swimming and sun bathing ideal. Enjoy the evening walks on the beach to witness the most amazing sunsets.

About Clark Norske

We purchased this condo in 2011 and it is our 6th rental property, but our first in Maui. We are very particular about our homes & condos which will become very apparent when you stay with us. We try very hard to maintain them and are constantly upgrading them to keep them up to our high standards. We are very excited about our new purchase and plan to spend many weeks throughout the year in Maui.

Why Clark Norske chose Maui

We have traveled to Maui several times over our 34 years of marriage, but it wasn't until our son was married here in 2010 that we decided to buy. We looked all over Maui but always came back to the Kihei. Once Kihei was the location, Kamaole Sands was the easy choice. With all the amenities it has to offer and a easy walk to anything you may need, from the beach to shopping, this is the place to be.

What makes this condo unique

The grounds of Kamaole Sands are wonderful. Having High Speed Internet /WiFi in the condo and around the select locations (pool area) it makes it easy to still keep in touch. With the beach or pool just steps away it makes a wonderful place for the young and old alike.

We really enjoy Kamaole Sands and the amenities they have. Your condo is especially well furnished and it was wonderful to have the beach chairs and umbrella's supplied for our use. We ate all of our meals on the lanai looking at the ocean or the sunsets. It was especially nice having a new bed which is much more condusive to sleeping and the new refrigerator. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your vacation home.

Amazing property, both inside the condo and the grounds. Very clean in comparison to other condo unit properties that we looked at. Will absolutely go back and will try to rent the same location/property for our next trip. Clark (owner) was also very engaged, always responding to questions in a timely manner.

Kamaole Sands 8-311

Unit 8-311 was perfect. Excellent location across from Kam III beach, and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Great snorkelling and sunsets at Kam III. 8-311 is an exceptionally clean unit. This large corner unit is beautifully decorated and is well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. It also has an extensive supply of beach related items. The building is concrete so was not noisy, and with its large lanai with futon couch, ottoman, table and chairs, it was a perfect place to relax. It's definitely a vacation rental that I will highly recommend to others, and visit again in the near future.

Maui getaway

Very nice condo. Well maintained with plenty of room. The Lanai had a nice view of the ocean. Saw a few whales from there. My only minor issue is I wish it had a bathtub. It would have been nice to soak it one after a long day of running around. I would stay there again.

Sylishly Updated in an Hawaiian Theme

We stayed at this property for three weeks in February 2017. We found the pictures and description accurately reflect the property and included amenities. The owners were very easy to work with responding promptly to our inquires. Here are some items that we noted that may be of interest to prospective renters.

Immediately below the front of the lanai are two access roads to complexes located adjacent to and to the rear of Kamaole Sands. The roads are utilized regularly by service and contractor vehicles, residents and tenants so you will hear the associated traffic noise. Immediately below and to the right of the lanai is a communal barbeque area, on most nights you will hear conversations as residents and tenants barbeque supper.

The two baths each contain a shower, there is no tub.

The stereo with the docking station for the iPhone/iPod is not compatible with the newer models that use the lightning connecter. You can use the stereo if you bring an appropriate adaptor or a cable to plug into the AUX port. The TV sound bar is also equipped with Bluetooth so you can pair it to your Bluetooth equipped device.

Internet download speeds averaged between 35 Mbps and 50 Mbps depending on the time of day, upload speeds averaged 10 Mbps.

Balcony views of the ocean and the mountain will be much improved if you bring a good pair of binoculars.

There is a safe in the property but it is locked with no available key. When we inquired the owners explained that the property manager no longer administers the assignment of keys because too many were getting lost.

Overall this property exceeded our expectations, we would not hesitate to recommend it and would be happy to book this unit again for a future vacation. It earns four stars rather than five only because of the traffic noise.
