Seaspray Oceanfront Getaway with the highest quality and all the amenities is now available as a vacation rental. A picture is worth a thousand words.... See for yourself!
The great room has walls of glass, wood floors, vaulted open beam ceilings, electric fireplace, Flat Screen Wall HDTV with Satellite TV (everything package), all leather furniture, and is set up for comfort and relaxation. From the great room, you can enjoy the wonderful 270 degree ocean views, porpoise and whale watching.
The granite kitchen is fully equipped for the gourmet chef with deluxe cookware, utensils and high-end appliances. Seaspray also has an outdoor kitchen/BBQ area with dining table and chairs.
Both bedrooms feature Ocean Views and King size beds, electric faux wood burning fireplaces (non-wood burning), Satellite TV with 100+ channels including movies and sports, not to mention the crashing waves, ocean birds, wildlife and whale watching, etc. Each bedroom also has it's own marble bathroom. This house is immaculate.
There are two large grocery stores in town, one organic gourmet style with a deli/bakery, fresh fish, and lots of 'to go' hot food options. There are many food choices in town including pizza, bakery, and many other restaurants, including St. Orres, a 5 star restaurant which is only a 5 minute walk from the house. Just relax. There is nothing like watching the sunset over the ocean from the deck or hot tub soaking in the Seaspray ambiance. One of our favorite things to do is sit in the oceanfront hot tub overlooking crashing waves toasting the sunset with a glass of wine.
Bring your camera! Seaspray is a photographer's paradise.
This house is ideal for a romantic getaway for an anniversary or just to spice things up! Many of my relatives that have stayed there refer to it as 'The Honeymoon Cottage'.
Cook's Beach is a county maintained beach and is a five minute walk from the house. You are allowed to barbecue there or build a fire.

We're an executive couple. My husband being a Vintner and Winegrape grower in Sonoma County and myself owning my own brokerage company. We purchased this property to get away from the stress of business. We have enjoyed it immensely and now are ready to share the experience as we are not able to get away as often as we would like. You will absolutely love this property, I like to shop, so the house has everything!
The Owner purchased this house in 2006
Our criteria when buying a second home/getaway was location, location, location! Oceanfront, walking distance to a large beach, and being close enough to a town that offered restaurants, gourmet food grocery store, shopping, art galleries, etc, etc. It took three years for us to find the perfect property and this is it! With redecorating, and replacing surfaces, we have made this a spectacular getaway.
As soon as you arrive at the house, you forget about everything and just enjoy the oceanfront setting, crashing waves, all stress seems to disappear immediately.
Two couples - mature, grown kids - looking for a great spot to enjoy a mid-summer week: where to go, off the beaten path, with a pace that allows a reset and recharge? We found the answer at SeaSpray. The cool days were a stark contrast to the summertime heat that was everywhere else; the accommodations were everything described on the site, and even more. Just yards from the deck and hot-tub, the edge of the bluff drops to the rocks and beach, with the calming effect of the Pacific waves running 24/7. Inside, the house is meticulously assembled, resembling a high-end yacht in its well-designed layout and accoutrements. The hospitality exhibited by the property manager was thoughtful and skilled, from the booking to the departure. When our plans point us back to the Northern California coast, we'll definitely be back at SeaSpray!
Perfectly wonderful. A welcome bottle of wine would have been even better, but I could not be happier!!!
We came to celebrate our anniversary. The home is like a 5 star hotel with all the amenities. Breathtaking views of the ever-changing ocean from every room. It was great to go to St. Orr's for dinner and cocktails ,the proximity is just across the street!! Easy access to great areas for hiking and going to the beach. Enjoyed the hot tub and the view. A great way to celebrate 39 years with a getaway close to our home.
My husband rented this home for my 50th birthday. I had no idea where we were going or where we were staying. I wasn't totally sure what to expect, and even though I knew he wouldn't put us in the Motel 6, I certainly wasn't prepared for the sanctuary that he had discovered in Sea Spray. When I arrived I was amazed at the sheer beauty of the home and the view. Everything in the house was top of the line. It was immaculate and well cared for. I was so impressed with the amenities and all of the items that were provided. Luxurious bathrobes, big, fluffy bath towels, delightfully spongey bath mats, granite countertops, beautifully deocorated rooms with beds and pillows that swallowed us like a cloud. The pantry was well stocked with spices, sugar, coffee, paper towels, paper plates, (or regular plates if you're into dish washing while u r there) tons of glassware, and everything you might need for preparing meals. The views from the bedrooms and the living room were unparalleled. We really felt like we were in total seclusion and privacy, even though there were neighboring houses. The best part of the house (aside from the spa) was the front living area and the recliners where we drank our coffee, or sipped wine and looked into eternity and beyond, watching the weather roll in and listening to the cadence of the waves. And, oh those waves. They lulled us to sleep each night and gently woke us each morning. Every evening was topped off with a trip to the spa where we pretended that the stars were there just for us and we realized that no one else in the world had the view that we had right then. This trip was all about relaxing, so although the most adventure we sought was a walk to the beach, there is plenty to do and see if you choose to wander about. I couldn't bring myself to leave the luxury and comfort of this house that became "our home" after the first night. I can't wait to return and although I would choose Sea Spray again for a romantic getaway it would also be great for a girl's weekend, or for a family of 4. I concur with another reviewer, if you plan to use the spa right away turn it up to high as soon as you arrive so hopefully it will be ready by nightfall. If you plan to work while you are there and need internet, then this is not the place for you. They ask that you limit your internet use. This was not a problem because I was unplugged anyhow. I only had one complaint -- I had to leave much too soon! We'll be back. The ocean is calling!
If we were to pick one word to describe Seaspray, it would be that. My wife and I have stayed at several vacation homes on both coasts but we agree that this one has the view that surpasses them all. Perhaps one could eventually tire of it but after a week of watching the porpoises and the cavorting sea lions, the crashing waves or the stars slowly emerging at dusk from the hot tub, we think that it probably could not happen. Fellow reviewers have thoroughly and accurately described the house and we absolutely concur with what has been written. A very unique feature that has not been noted is the indirect lighting over the cabinets and living room beam that allows guests to pick their color at the touch of a button. If one could ever tear themselves away from this home, this beautiful region has much to take advantage of and still return in time to view sunset from that fantastic hot tub. For me, an avid cyclist, it was taking on the scenic, challenging roads of the wild, rugged coastline. For my wife, it was occasional shopping but, more importantly, countless hours of pure relaxation. This is THE home for whatever you need, and truly unforgettable.
Seaspray is amazing: the views, the house, and the amenities. The house is beautiful with windows looking out to the ocean from both bedrooms, the living room, and because of the open area the kitchen as well. You are never away from the gorgeous view of the ocean. The four recliners in the living room and the two beds are comfortable and luxurious. The amenities are wonderful with large soft towels, even larger spa towels, soaps, shampoos, lots of spices in the kitchen, and even a heated bathroom floor. Sitting on the deck or sitting in the fantastic hot tub, the views and sounds of the ocean are so relaxing. During our stay we had several days of rainy weather, and the ocean was even more spectacular. Coralee and Joe are wonderful hosts. We had a small question, and they went out of their way to see that everything was perfect for us. We can't thank them enough. The views from the house are equal to or better than any up and down the coast. That is saying something because all of the northern coastline views are beautiful. It is a short drive to visit Point Arena Lighthouse, Mendocino, and wineries. We will never forget this amazing vacation spot. We hope we get to return.
