The breathtaking mountain views and privacy.
Gorgeous year round mountain views, you can see the French Broad River too. The fireplace is so beautiful in the cooler months. Relaxing and close to downtown Asheville.
We had a wonderfull trip to Asheville over the New Years. The house was perfect for our family. Lots of open space, and the large well furnished kitchen made for easy meal preps. We enjoyed the breakfast bar in the kitchen which allowed for plenty of meal prep "oversight" by our 'Crew". The spacious living room had a phenomial view of the surronding area. We had nice relaxing fire in the large stone fireplace each evening. The Master Bedroom and Master Bath are HUGE. The house can easliy accomidate 7 or 8, depending on sleeping arrangements and no one will feel cramped. Booking process was painless. Comms with John and Maria prior to our visit ensured that all our questions were addressed, and we were well informed on check in process, and what to expect at the house. This was my first Airbnb experience, it surely will not be my last!
We loved our Christmas stay at the Long Range Mountain Views house. As others have said, the house is super comfortable and the views are wonderful. The fireplace and the stonework is a work of art. We loved it so much we had a hard time going anywhere else. Being able to include our dogs in our Christmas vacation made it even more special. They even had a Christmas tree set up for us! The place was immaculate and had most everything you would want at your fingertips. Georgie was so helpful and accommodating. I can see that a couple of upgrades here and there would add to the home but we will definitely go back hopefully a couple of times this year. We would highly recommend this home.
We cooked Thanksgiving dinner here, and found the kitchen utensils to be super disappointing compared to other homes we've rented. It was hard to find different utensils, and there were very few, very old utensils to cook with. Also, the only kitchen cleaning supplies that were available were a couple of bottles of Clorox wipes, which were dried up. We had to go purchase more supplies. The loft upstairs was unbearably hot, and super hard to comfortably sleep in. The overall property is nice, but compared to other properties in the area that we've stayed in that were much less, we were not as impressed.
I would definitely rent this property again. The location is very good - 15 minutes from most things in Asheville, but a feeling of being away in the mountains. Our family enjoyed the living room with its comfortable furniture (love the swivel chair!), views, and beautiful stone fireplace. We have small dogs, and liked that there are 2 fenced in areas, and little carpeting. Excellent laundry room, home office/dining area, large master bath with private toilet area, good seating on the deck, good parking. The house does have some quirks - like the very hot water that comes out of the cold tap in the bathroom, and it has an "updated 90s" vibe- man made countertops mixed with granite, new sink/old cabinetry etc. They also need to replace the ceiling light in the master bedroom because it makes the corner storage space very dark. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, but we missed having a griddle. We liked the stools at the island with good access to plugs for charging devices - good morning hangout space. The bottom floor is rented out, but the renters were friendly. I would bring extra towels - only the minimum is provided. I highly recommend this property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Just a short distance from downtown Asheville, the house has a spacious living room, two full bedooms, including a large master-bedroom, and extra upstairs sleeping space, and two full bathrooms. The house was clean and well-equipped, including a hot tub. Also has two decks with beautiful view of Blue Ridge Mountains from the upper deck. Some of the outdoor furniture needs to be replaced but otherwise no complaints.
It SCREAMS mountainous views and a lovely place!!!! It had plenty of room for the 8 of us! Close enough to downtown but far enough away to enjoy the beautiful mountains! The only bad thing that happen was a breaker was tripped and the hot tub was only available the first night we were there ...and a hot tub was a MUST amenity for us. :( When we called they had someone come check it, so maybe that needs to be checked to make sure it cant happen. I am recommending it to some other friends that will be vacating there this summer! We will definitely rent from them again!!!
We spent the ENTIRE day on Friday at the GROVE PARK Omni......AMAZING!!!!!!! We ate at The Marketplace, Wicked Weed, Twisted Laurel and Bier Garden.....all WONDERFUL!
This place was amazing from the start. The view from the back porch in the morning looking over the French Broad while drinking coffee and listening to the wild animals (turkeys gobble) was nothing short of perfect. Everything in the house was as promised and was in great condition (clean and tidy). The rooms were large as well as the bathroooms and living area. When I had a question or there was a problem (no real problems) they were immediately fixed and/or received a quick response. Can't wait to visit again and will definitely stay at this beautiful home.
The Long Range Mountain View home is located 7 miles from downtown Asheville with easy access to I26 and Merrimon Avenue and only 5 miles to the quaint town of Weaverville. Weaverville has a lovely assortment of restaurants, cafe's, live music, nature walks, Lake Louise and an eclectic artistic scene. The road to the house is part paved and part compact gravel and has a mild incline - a beautiful drive year round, but especially in the fall. A grocery store, pharmacy, Pizza Hut and restaurants are only minutes from the house. There's plenty of parking for four cars.
