Triplex Unit, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

The Aqua Essence Unit 3 is one unit of a beachfront triplex on the Gulf of Mexico on St. Joseph Peninsula (Cape San Blas). All three units are available.

The beachside bedroom has a queen bed, the bayside bedroom has a queen bed and twin-sized bunk beds for a total sleeping capacity of 6. There is a sofa sleeper which may be used, but we do not provide the linens for it. We have two other similar units available, but they do not have the bunk beds.

Rentals periods are usually full weeks from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays stays will be considered during the non-summer months.

Family of 10 Adults & 2 Children & a Dog! - Rented All 3 Condos

We rented all 3 AquaEssence Condos for a week! We had 10 adults (5 couples), 2 Children and a Dog.

Each couple had a bedroom and the couple with 2 children had their own condo. This was perfect for our first family vacation in 9 years! We were all together, yet we all had our own space/privacy when needed. We had a couple of BBQs, found nice places to eat in surrounding areas (Mexico Beach) and Port St. Joe. The 5 guys went fishing one day and scored some Red Snapper for dinner! We also rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed the bay for a day and were able to go out to the tip of Cape San Blas. We had perfect weather (lucky this time cause ya never know!) The condos were well stocked with kitchen items, towels, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 2 full baths in each condo. They were all very nice! Thank you to Vince!

Can't Wait to Go Back!

This was our fourth trip to Cape San Blas and our third year at the Aqua Essence. As always, the place was very clean and well stocked. They rebuilt the decks since our last stay. The view is wonderful, love the palm trees. There is not as much beach as last time, but we heard they will be re-nourishing it in the next year or so. Our neighbors in Unit 2 have been coming for six years and were very nice. We are already planning our next visit.

A real Gem!

We love Cape San Blas and have often admired this cottage from our beach walks. Well, lucky us, we got to run down to CSB and stay at here in #2 this March. The home has a cottage feel and everything you would need. The deck and patio areas are great for gatherings. We especially love the palm trees, they give a caribbean feeling, and break from the sun. Our little dogs had the best time playing with our neighbors' dogs on the wrap around deck. Each deck has dividers for privacy, but can be opened whenever you want to. And the walk to the beach is short & easy. Vince, the owner, stopped by to make sure we had all we needed, he is a wealth of knowledge about the area too. It was a great visit and we're so glad we found Aqua Essence, we'll be back! It was perfect for us!

Private Paradise!

This will be our third year at Aqua Essence. Our children love it so much we now book two weeks instead of one! The unit is very clean and has everything we need for a comfortable, relaxing vacation. I love being able to throw the beach towels in the washer and have them ready for the next day! Our deck is private and has a great view of the ocean which is RIGHT THERE!!!! The owner always stops by to make sure everything is going smoothly. Aqua Essence is a short walk to The Trading Post which has the best homemade donuts ever. Indian Pass is a must if you love fresh oysters! The state park is just down the road where we love to snorkel - the sea life is fantastic! Counting down the days until our next vacation!!

Not going back.

Have stayed at this rental on four occasions over the past several years.

Pro's: Excellent gulf front location, great outside grilling area with large fire pit, pet-friendly.

Cons: Beds uncomfortable, linens old, a/c vents rusted in bathrooms, outdoor furniture literally falling apart, inside of kitchen drawers and cabinets look like they haven't been cleaned in years. Wi-fi is iffy.

All of these issues have been left on surveys at completion of our stay and no updating has happened.

Refrigerator leaked a lot of water from the freezer to the frig compartment all over our food. The owner stated that we needed to defrost the freezer for 24 hours which we did. Thankfully we had a large fishing cooler to put all our food in. After 24 hours, it began to leak again, apparently this is an ongoing problem and was a huge inconvenience.

Owner's Response: I am sorry the renter was disappointed during their fourth stay at our property. That was the first time for that type of refrigerator problem at that property and we have not had a problem since. Usually it is caused by putting too much warm food and drinks in it at the start of the stay, exacerbated by the high humidity. The mattresses are two years old, so they are not worn out, just not the firmness/softness preferred by some. The three broken straps on the two deck chairs have been repaired, as has the rusty bathroom floor vent. WiFi is always a problem on the Cape, whether it is from the phone company or the cable company. We complain about it more than our visitors do. Hopefully our new cell tower will address some connection issues. This was the first cleanliness complaint we have had in over 4 years. I will work hard to make sure there is not another.

Great time

Me and my husband had a great time, great location, met the best neighbours. The house was clean, cozy, and the best part is it's located right on the beach with its own grilling area, and it's right by the trading post and not far from the state park. We loved it and are looking forward to be booking this place again next year

  • Rental period is Saturday to Saturday. Six day minimum in the summer. All fees are for 2 people. Additional people are $1/day/person. Maximum occupancy is 8, combination of people and pets. Linens not provided for queen sofa sleeper.

    Cleaning fee is $90 per stay. Stays over 2 weeks will be assessed an additional $50.

    Pet fee is $60 for first, $40 for second, two pet maximum.

    Cancellation Policy: If you cancel further out that 30 days from check-in you get all but $100 per reserved week or partial week plus tax. Less than 30 days, you will get back what we can re-rent it for less $100 plus tax.
