Open the front door and you’ve arrived. Lot’s of natural woodwork, open space, comfort….exposed beams. Sit in the comfortable family room and enjoy the floor to ceiling fieldstone fireplace. This is a great space for relaxing by the fire and enjoying family and friends. The custom kitchen has granite counters and stainless appliances. Down the hall is a full sized bath. Two bedrooms are on either side of the bath, with two twin beds in each. Nice views of the Kinsman Mountains from these rooms.
Upstairs are three more bedrooms and two baths. At the top of the stairs is a bedroom with a queen bed. Next is the master bedroom with a queen bed and nice views of the mountains. The master bath has a wonderful sauna!
The last bedroom is a great space above the garages. There’s a full pullout couch, as well as a twin bed, a couple of comfortable chairs and TV. The last full bath is also here, along with a washer and dryer. This is a nice place for the kids or a quiet area to enjoy. Make your way back to the main floor using a second staircase.
Head outside through the sliding door onto the deck…relax on the Adirondack chairs, or fire up the grill and have dinner out there! Enjoy Frisbee or croquet on the large level yard. Soak in the views of the Kinsman Mountains.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your house. You have a beautiful home. It was very clean and clutter free. The kids loved the level and spacious yard. They had a fantastic time exploring and playing yard games. P... and I enjoyed the views and relaxing on the deck. As avid cyclists we found it quite convenient to be near a main road that had a low volume of traffic and served as a good connector to other cycling routes in the ares. We have stayed in the Franconia area on a few occasions and found your house to be one of the most hospitable and welcoming homes. Thanks for making your home available to us. We hope to stay with you again.
My husband and I spent a week at this beautiful home with our 4 children. The lovely home was in great condition (clean, well-stocked w/linens, etc.) and the views were spectacular. I especially loved the fact that our children had the ability to run around the expansive property and do some walking in the woods. I would highly recommend this house.
My wife and I rented this property to spend some time with our adult children on a ski vacation. Just a short drive (15 minutes) to our favorite Mountain (Cannon Mt), we enjoyed a week of great skiing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We also traveled to Loon Mountain and Bretton Woods (30 minutes) to take advantage of discount skiing on certain days. The property is very private which gave us some nice quite time at night to bond as a family. With 5 bedrooms and a loft which could be used as a 6'th, we had more than enough room for a good night sleep. The Main living area with a wood fireplace was a popular gathering spot at night. The kitchen has plenty of seating and room for a many chefs as we encouraged our boys to work together preparing meals. The owner was easy to deal with and helpful answering any questions we had. Great ski house which I would highly recommend and most likely return again next year.
My family rented this property over the New Year's holiday to allow the family to all spend some time together-children and grandchildren. The house accommodated all of us with room to spare. The home is wonderfully furnished and the kitchen is very thoughtfully stocked. The home has plenty of bed linens and towels. The garage was well stocked with fire wood and the granite fireplace was a wonderful way to warm up after a long day of skiing. The house is located on a small private road and is set-back a bit. Very private yard and a beautiful wrap around deck. Very close to Cannon Mtn and Sugar Hill. Both Loon Mountain and the Town of Lincoln are about 30 minutes away. This home is one of our favorites and we would definitely rent it again.
Highly recommend this vacation property. Our family had a wonderful time and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We have rented many properties in the Franconia area and this house was certainly our favorite. The home is very clean, plenty of bath linens, everything you would need in a kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, outdoor eating area, and a large open lawn for the kids to play. The owner was very helpful and provided quick responses to questions. We hope to return to this property in the future.
We had a wonderful family ski vacation at this beautiful home. When my twin 7 year old nephews walked in all they could say was WOW!We were a group of 10 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The family room/great room was gorgeous and there was plenty of room for everyone in the kitchen. We cant wait to rent this propery nexr February. And the owner and the woman that cleaned the property were so good to deal with.
Thanks for everything
We loved the beautiful peaceful location and how much room our family of five and one dog had in this lovely log cabin. The sauna and fireplace were wonderful after a day of skiing at Cannon which is 10 minutes away. Away from it all, but close to the Franconia Inn for dinner and downtown Franconia where Mac's Market was a frequent stop. Definitely would stay here again.

This great log home is in a very private location, just 10 minutes from Franconia center. The yard is very private, but just a few moments to a rural road, excellent for biking.
Minutes down the road are several hiking trails…you can be out there for hours, and be the only group on the trail. Bridal Veil Falls is just down the street. It’s a real special spot! The Flume and The Basin are also pretty close. Please be careful driving…we see moose very often…very close to the house, especially at dusk and after dark!!
Cannon Mountain is 15 minutes away. Nice terrain and it’s been our experience…no waiting. Bretton Woods and Loon are also in the area. The Franconia Inn is just down the street: nice place for a special meal, horseback riding, sleigh rides, cross country skiing or even a glider ride! The kids like Chutters Candy…boasting of “the world’s longest candy counter”, a quick drive to Littleton or Lincoln. Santa’s Village, Six Gun City, and Whale’s Tail are a short ride away.
