A little piece of Heaven on Earth.
I'm a photography consultant. I work for a high end marketing program for photographers called AtEdge. I also work as a photography consultant and curate gallery shows. I am the Chair of Focus On AIDS, which built the first Children's AIDS Hospital in India, and Chair of the Lucie Awards (Oscar's for Photographers). The condo has a lot of fine art photography.
Susan Baraz purchased this condo in 2004
It's in the center of everything, but the condo itself is so tranquil for my busy life--that it's an oasis of calm for me. Sitting outside looking at the mountains is so relaxing that even if I'm working-it has a soothing feeling to it. It's furnished as a home, not a rental. I find my condo with all it offers, pool, tennis, but mostly the views a great place to renew and unwind. The walkways of the complex are visually incredible-the landscaping of the grounds is a fantasy to escape from the busy world i find myself in. I have not seen anything close to it in any complex in Palm Springs.
Exceptional resort living in center of Palm Springs
Exquisite and unlike any other complex-landscape and water features.
This Palm Springs condo has it all. Extremely comfortable place to hang out on all levels. It is obvious when you open the front gate that your vacation is on. Very cozy patio with interesting plants. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the front patio in the morning and sitting on the back patio looking at the mountains with our cocktails in the evening. Susan has furnished the entire place with interesting art and decorative objects everywhere. We felt right at home. We loved the salt water pool right across the street. This place is so conveniently located to everything a person would want or need. We will definitely be back. Final answer.
Wanting to escape cold London I saw the delightful photos of the condo on the website and booked the place for my first visit to Palm Spings. I absolutely loved my visit and for maybe the first time ever, the photos did not fully do justice to the condo. It was charming, comfy, wonderfully tasteful and every last comfort and amenity was thought about. The owner had decorated the place to make the visitor feel that they were staying in their very own house.
The view of the mountain from the back patio was amazing. The salt water pool and jacuzzi, always open, was directly across the grass from the front door.
The location in Palm Springs was ideal for downtown and also for easily accessing all the tourist spots.
Loved the whole time in Palm Springs and would definitely come back to this immaculately clean and lovely home.
This condo was great-loved the two patios, one in the front and one in the back with a beautiful mountain view. It is centrally located in Palm Springs so restaurants are nearby. The place is quiet, beautifully decorated, kitchen had all the appliances and tools needed for any chef to make an elegant meal, and the beds were comfortable! We used the pool right across the street which was so convenient, and the tennis courts were right around the corner. We enjoyed our stay and will continue to return - it's just like home!
We throughly enjoyed our stay. The owner thought of every little detail, these little details helped to make it feel more like home. The location close to the pool and hot tub was great and we were glad we able to enjoy both on our visit. The owner has updated the condo nicely and it was very clean. The view of the mountains was amazing. It is also very close to downtown, which was very convenient. We had rain several days while we where they and it was great not to be trapped in a cramped hotel room, the dvd player helped us escape the weather outside. The owner very responsive when we had questions, and always got back to us quickly. This was a great experience and would highly recommend this condo for a memorable stay when visiting Plam Springs.
My husband and I were looking for a relaxing get away and lucked out in finding this condo. We normally opt for hotels on vacation, but staying in this gem of a home where we could spend time relaxing indoors and out, as well as cooking or barbecuing if we wished, was a treat.
The condo exceeded our expectations. It was warm and welcoming...it felt like home. The entire place was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated - kudos to the owner (who was gracious and responsive when we were planning our trip out from New York City).
Sitting on the back patio at sunset and taking in the view of the beautiful mountains was the best way to unwind at the end of each day. We especially loved having the heated pool and jacuzzi so close by and basically had it all to ourselves! We both love to play tennis and really enjoyed being able to take advantage of the many tennis courts right on the property.
We relished the peace and quiet of the condo and surrounding area - it was a tranquil haven for us coming from New York City. When we wanted to get out and explore, everything was so easily accessed. The location couldn't be more convenient to great restaurants, spa treatments at hotels, movie theaters, hiking in Indian Canyon, and shops, including the Cabazon outlets.
We can't say enough about the place...and we can't wait to come back!
My fiance and I came to this hidden oasis a few months back, and we only wish we could return EVERY month. We live in Los Angeles, and to celebrate our engagement, wanted to take a week just for ourselves to truly enjoy one another in a relaxing, natural setting.
This wonderful home hit the spot! I say home, because that is really what it felt like (in fact, my fiance and I are sincerely considering buying a place just like it and possibly moving to Palm Springs!). But better, because when the gates open and you step out and take a big deep breathe of the fresh desert air, you know you're on vacation. Then you can take all day to unwind in the jacuzzi, cool off in the pool, take a beautiful stroll through the Indian canyons (so gorgeous), curl up with each other on the patio and watch the sun set behind the mountains, go out for a romantic or family dinner, or cook one in the kitchen together.
It was such a tender time for my fiance and I, and we're very grateful to have chosen this special place to celebrate and commemorate our love.
Close to the center of Palm Springs, Sunrise Racquet Club includes 7 tennis courts, 6 separate swimming pools and jacuzzi spas throughout the complex, 2 racquetball courts, lakes, waterfalls, a clubhouse, incredible mountain views, huge expanse of manicured grass and fruit trees, in a private gated community. Located close to the cable car tramway which takes you up to the mountains, near to Indian Canyons for hiking, Palm Springs Museum, plus all shopping, dining, movie theaters, spas, casinos, and boutiques.
