Lovely, Non-Smoking, Home, on the Quiet End of Folly Beach. Our House is a Two bedroom, Two Bath Beach home with ocean view and Lots of Privacy. Ideally located less than 200 feet from beach access with shower at Beach access and also in Courtyard. Home features hardwood and tile floors, large Master bedroom with 2 queen beds and master bath with garden tub and walk in shower. Second bedroom has a king size bed with full bathroom. Large open living and Dining area. Two screened in porches, private gated courtyard with doggie door access. Grill area, concrete parking for autos and boats, Three Flat Screen TV's, Cable, Wi-Fi, DVD, Washer/Dryer. Fully equipped Kitchen. Endless Hot water, and Property is Private & protected with 6' and 4' fence. We are exactly One Mile from Downtown Folly Beach! Great part of the beach! (See on Map!)
Larry was a young Boy when his parents moved to Folly Beach, who married a Georgia Girl! Little did they know they would fall in Love, get married, and NEVER get the sand out of their toes!! They have one Daughter, who is married, and a Four-Legged Grandchild!!

Larry grew up on Folly, and brought this Georgia Girl Home. Cathy fell in Love with Larry, His Family, and Folly Beach! After Falling in Love across the street on the Beach and teaching a Girl to shag 'til dawn, Larry proposed to Cathy on the Beach, and the Rest is History!!They eventually would move back to Folly and own the Family Home. After Retiring from Owning a Successful Concrete Company, they decided to restore their 'Piece of The Edge' and have met Great Friends from all over Our Country. It is Absolutely Paradise!! You Truly never get the 'sand out of your toes.'
Just Read the above, and You will understand why Larry and Cathy fell in Love on Folly Beach, and will always contribute to The City of Folly Beach & " Our Piece Of The Edge," This is Paradise from The Rising Of The Sun to The Sunset!! AND it is so Beautiful, you will want to stay!!
First off, Cathy and Larry are amazing hosts. You aren't just renting a home, you are renting their home which they take great pride in. You could not ask for a better location as it is diagonally across from the 8th Ave beach access. We were at the beach in under one minute from our doorstep. This was very important to me as I was traveling with my 70 year old mother and I didn't want her to have to go far. The beautiful home is far enough away from the noise of Center St but close enough to get their in under 10 mins. I do recommend a golf cart as parking in Folly during the high season is at a premium. We had a large vehicle with a substantial trailer hitch so we knew a golf cart was the way to go. There aren't really sidewalks to walk on to get to town so we found this easier.
The house is beautifully appointed with all that you could ever want. We traveled with 2 small dogs and they loved the fenced in yard. It's very private and spacious for the lot. It was a 20 min easy drive to beautiful downtown Charleston where top notch shopping and restaurants await. It was such a spectacular vacation for the first time ever, we've already reserved the house for the same week next year! Also, rent chairs from the Folly Beach chair company. They will set up and take down your beach chairs and umbrella daily. Wonderful service and worth every penny in our book. Can't wait for next year, thank you Larry, Cathy and Buster! ❤️

We enjoyed our stay very much! It felt like being home. Everything was beautiful and clean. We traveled with two senior citizens. The house was very comfortable for them. The owners were very kind and checked in daily. We would love to stay again.
This was our first time in FB and weren't sure what to expect. It was a great place to stay. We brought our two teenage boys and a friend and it was very easy for them to walk to town or head to the beach. The house is spacious, maintained very well and is super clean. We appreciate Cathy and Larry being so welcoming and informative. We would highly recommend!
This was our 2nd stay. We stayed in June of 2013 also, and we have been happy each time. They had made a few updates, there were towel racks to hang towels in the extra bathroom which I thought was great. Larry and Cathy are wonderful people to rent from. It felt like home. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back again.
A very well kept home in a perfect location a few steps from the beach. Our dogs loved every minute of it (they loved the doggie doors and enclosed porch areas), and so did we! The owners Larry and Cathy are both amazing and very helpful. We honestly could not have asked for a better vacation getaway - we can't wait to return!

We are on a Sat-Sat Turnover Day. During Peak Season (May-Mid August) we are ONLY on a weekly basis. No minimum Three days. Pets are charged by weight and no more than Two.
We do speak to every new Potential Guests, so we may get to know you better & explain the amount of fee. We have > than 70% Repeat guests. Do not hesitate to call with any questions!!
