Best value in Palm Desert; it has the luxury and grounds of much higher-priced homes.
You get all the benefits of a luxury home, but at a fraction of the price.
This is an incredibly well thought out place. For the size, it had everything my husband and I needed for our 2 week stay. Having the entire backyard to ourselves was so nice, and we loved that they provided coffee for the Kurig, as well as bottled water. A great location and unbeatable price. Steve and Karen were curtious and accommodating.
I just returned from another great stay at Steve and Karen’s Cozy Casita. This is my third time staying here and that should tell you enough about how I feel about the space, location and hospitality provided by Steve and Karen.
I travel to Palm Desert once or twice per year for golf and relatively easy access to my rental home in Temecula. The space is perfect for me and I would imagine it would be great for a couple as well. Depending on the time of year you are traveling, the pool is great and right outside the door of the casita and the fact that they give you full private use of the whole back yard and patio furniture, it makes the space seem that much larger. The hot tub, which I have used a lot, is great in the evening when the temp cools down and I can rejuvenate my body from the many games of golf I try to fit in.
The unit is perfectly stocked with dishes, towels, a Keurig coffee machine with many selections of coffee provided by Steve. The unit has a great HD tv with many channels (golf channel:) and the bed is very comfortable. I’m sure I am repeating many of the points already emphasized from previous stays and other reviewers but I can’t think of anything bad to say at all.
Enjoy your stay but don’t book to much, I still need to get in there twice per year.

The Casita was nicely appointed with waters in the fridge and a fully stocked Keurig for morning coffee. They closed the blinds in the back of the house so we felt pretty private in the backyard. Each morning, we opened the front door and enjoyed the sound of the birds which was amazing. The pool was nice and the neighborhood is very safe and high end.
Very quaint casita. Nicely decorated, great location in Palm Desert. Fully furnished except for a stove. But really not no need since there are so many wonderful restaurants around. Backyard private. Steven was a wonderful host. Always reachable and very responsive. Can't wait to return.
My husband and I stayed at this cute and cozy casita for a week and loved it. It had everything we needed for our short stay. We had the backyard to ourselves and the home owners gives you your privacy. The location is perfect and is a short drive to everything you can possibly need. Whole food is close by for all your organic food. No problems with the Check-in/check-out and owner is very friendly and will answer any questions you may have.
Steve is a great host. We appreciated him sharing his knowledge of the area to enhance our vacation. The casita was comfortable, well-equipped and the grounds and the smell of the Lemon tree flowers are great memories for us.
