Our completely renovated, ground level, open floor plan home is 6 houses from our private beach access. The beach is on the West end of Sanibel, which is much less populated and more secluded. It is almost like having your own private beach! This privacy is rare on Sanibel. Our yard is also very private with tropical vegetation and a heated screened pool. The home sits only one block from one of the major bicycle paths (4 adult bikes provided) and is directly across the street from miles of conservation land. This home is GROUND LEVEL-no stairs to climb to get a cold drink, snack or sun block from inside. The home has been totally renovated and professionally decorated with high end tile completely throughout.
Our entire living area, lanai, dining room, kitchen and living room, has an open floor plan that allows everyone to be involved in the conversation. The large lanai opens out to the pool or to the beautiful back yard with lemon and lime trees. The attractive rattan furniture is a great place to read a book or enjoy the tropical views.
The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances, maple cabinets, and granite counters with breakfast bar. An outside gas grill is available for all your BBQ needs.
The living room has comfortable seating with a 50' Ultra 4K high definition TV with cable, surround sound, Comcast DVR for recording your favorite TV shows and movies, and DVD player. To stay connected, we have equipped the home with WIRELESS HIGH SPEED INTERNET for your convenience and use. We have also included a booklet of our family's favorite restaurants, shops and activities to help guide you to the best Sanibel has to offer.
The three bedrooms have top quality mattresses and linens with televisions. The spacious master bedroom suite includes a king size bed and 40' flat screen, Smart, high definition TV. This allows guests with Netflix, Hulu, etc. accounts to watch their favorite shows. Sliding glass doors provide direct access to the pool with a beautiful tropical view. The in suite bath has a walk-in shower with rare silver travertine tile throughout. A large shower head and designer vessel sink and faucet complete the package. The guest room has a queen size bed with a 32' flat screen, high definition TV. The third bedroom has plenty of room to occupy two twin beds with a 27' flat screen, high definition TV. The guest bathroom is all new, in the Tuscan design with beautiful Italian tile and granite countertop.
A full size washer and dryer with utility sink are available for your laundry needs.
Keep your car cool in the 1 and a 1/2 car garage with plenty of storage.
We provide everything you need for the beach: beach cart, chairs, towels, cooler, floats, and sand toys. We do not provide beach umbrellas, but CVS or Baileys has them. For a rainy day: cards, board games, books, and movies.
Sanibel Island is known to have the best shelling in North America. Sanibel remains unique in it's commitment to preserving the natural environment. Two thirds of Sanibel (6500 acres) is part of a wildlife refuge with miles of waterways and lush tropical plants and exotic wildlife. Sanibel has no traffic lights and building height is strictly limited, with few franchises. You will find unique shops and restaurants with top notch gourmet options to crunchy shrimp baskets that are sure to please everyones palate.

Throughout our travels, we fell in love with Sanibel. Along with the best beaches in the world, Sanibel has wonderful weather, a relaxed atmosphere with great restaurants and shopping.There is not a better place to vaction and relax. We one day plan to retire to this beautiful place.
What makes this House unique
Location, location, location! We are 6 houses to private beach access. Our heated screened pool is very secluded and private with an abundance of tropical vegetation. Many of the homes on Sanibel are not ground level. We love the convienence of not climbing stairs everytime we need something in the house or to just go out to the pool. We are located in the middle of the island, close to Captiva and Sanibel's attractions. We have equipped our house as we would for ourselves. Come and make yourself at home.

The house was great. Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, appliances, bikes, beach chairs, towels. Couldn't think of anything else. The location was great. So close to Ding Darling, we biked there often. And the beach was perfect. Can't wait to go back next year.

SO close to beach + tranquil private pool!
The house is just a quick, scenic stroll to the private beach! We had the beach to ourselves as far as the eye could see, but the kids enjoyed walking down the beach to have lunch at West Wind Inn and meet other youngsters (while we still got our peace and quiet)! We spent every afternoon in the private, screened in pool! Perfect spot to cool off and take in the natural Sanibel vegetation. The whole house looks straight out of Better Home and Gardens - completely renovated, clean and homey! The beds were SO comfortable and we loved having a fully equipped kitchen to make meals when we weren't at our favorite restaurants. Will definitely be back!
We had an amazing month in Sanibel! This lovely home is located on the quiet rabbit road. The house is a short walk to the beach, and the beach wagon in the garage made it easy for us to haul our coolers and chairs. The house has a secluded pool, great for cooling off in the afternoons. The patio furniture was new, high end, and extremely comfortable. I had no problem laying outside for hours reading my books. Inside, the house was equipped with modern appliances and electronics. The kitchen was fully stocked and suited all our cooking needs. All the beds and furniture were exceptionally comfortable. We highly recommend staying here!

We have been coming to Sanibel for a number of years now, but decided to bring our dogs this year, and rented this property for the first time, for April and May. We found the house to be exactly as advertised, with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture and beds thoughout. We spent many hours at the pool every day and found the privacy and tranquility at the back of the property to be ideal. We also gave the grill a good workout most days. Dawn was very responsive when we contacted her for assistance a couple of times. The proximity to the beach was a bonus, allowing easy access for frequent long beach walks, shelling and close encounters with interesting sea dwellers (dolphins, rays). Occasionally we went out for meals, our favorite dinner location is The Sand Bar just up West Gulf a short distance. We also enjoyed Timbers, Island Cow and Matzaluna. All in all, this property fully satisfies our needs, accordingly we reserved again for April and May next year.

Close to lovely quiet beach
We spent the month of January in this home and loved the location. The heated pool is a big bonus and we enjoyed taking a dip almost everyday. The beds are so comfortable and bathrooms are nicely updated. We used beach chairs, carts, beach towels and bikes almost everyday. The only slight disappointment was the furniture out by the pool. There was only one lounge chair and the other chairs were not that comfortable for relaxing.
