About Dave Pyle
My wife and I were so fortunate to find this property and it's been such a joy to share our beach home with family, friends and guests. We were simply out exploring Oregon Coast one weekend and we happened to stop at Netarts beach to have lunch. We took out time walking the lovely beach and the little town of Netarts and were pleasantly surprised to find it so quiet even though is was on the weekend. We came across this property during our walk and were amazed by the quiet peaceful setting and the stunning views of the beach, bay, and ocean. We enjoyed it so much we literally bought the property the following day and then designed and built our home the following summer. Our beach home has been a gathering place for family and friends ever since. We've made so many wonderful memories here, I hope we have an opportunity to share our home with you so you can create your own memories.

Comfort! Convenience! Wonderful location!
Netarts is our favorite spot on the Oregon Coast! We have been coming here for more than 40 years for Easter. This is the first time we've stayed in the Beachfront Haven, but we loved it! This is by far one of the nicest homes on Happy Camp Road! It was beautifully furnished with very high quality furnishings, and really well supplied with cookware, etc. The views are incredible, and the location of the house right on the beach makes it a truly breathtaking location. Our family aged from teenagers to my 92 year old mother and all were comfortable. The loft was a great place for the teenages to hang out, watch movies and play video games without disturbing those who needed to turn in early. The fire pit in the backyard was a great place to gather, roast marshmallows, and enjoy family and friends. Finally, the beach at Netarts can't be surpassed! Each morning (whether rain or shine) the picture is more breathtaking than the day before! Since Netarts Bay is fairly well protected, the sand is perfect for walking, and when the tide is out, the clam beds are fun and agates are plentiful! In short, this is an incredible location! One of our favorite things about this location on Happy Camp Road is that there are so many options for vacation rentals that several families can gather in their own house, cabin, or motel room and still be close enough to hang out together! We were blessed to be in the Beachfront Haven! Can't wait to return!
Wow! Spectacular view and great accommodations!
As soon as you walk in you are blown away by the full beach view! Then you can admire the spacious living area so well decorated. I loved our stay here. It has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. We enjoyed eating our meals and playing games on the full size family table. Also liked the easy beach access with plenty of beach for a nice long walk and when you come back you can sit and enjoy the scenery in the chairs set up in the lawn area or have a bonfire and roast marshmallows in the fire pit area. I felt totally recharged after staying here and can't wait to come back!
Great beach home!
We stayed here in August with friends and I recommend this home highly. It's such a comfortable home and being right on the beach is a huge plus. I love to cook and was glad to find the kitchen is well stocked and it was perfect to be able to look out at the beach and be right there with the rest of the family in the great room while cooking. The views from this home are really amazing. The beds were all super comfy and the kids loved to play in the loft and made it their hangout. Being able to just walk out back and be to on the beach was super great for the kids and adults too, our nightly sunset walks on the beach were a joy. We were sad to leave but the time spent with family and friends and the memories we made during our stay were really special. Everyone is already talking about staying here again next year. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. Tammi, Family and Friends
Great beach home and great beach
We stayed at this home with another couple and 3 kiddos in late September. When they say this home is beach front, their not kidding. It was our second time staying in the home, our friends first time and they kept telling us what a great find this home was. The weather cooperated and amazing. It was sunny, warm, no wind, and we practically had the beach to ourselves. The home is great, it has a wonderful kitchen to cook in with everything we needed. The Master is amazing and the other bedrooms were very comfortable as well. The owners did a nice job with the furniture and decor, it's a very nice newer home and was perfect for our group. It's such a peaceful place to stay and the view of the beach and sunsets were amazing. The adults cooked, sat on the deck, sipped wine and enjoyed the view, while the kids would dart out the back and play the beach. Such a great routine, I miss it. The great thing is that the beach is right there so we could call them in when it was time. Also, each day the whole group took long walks on the beach all the way to Seaside and back, about a 5 miles round trip. The kids collected shells and sand dollars and in Seaside we'd stop to get coffee and ice cream at a nice little caffe on the main street which the kids (and adults) enjoyed. We love this home and the beach is wonderful, we'll be back again next year. Our friends loved it too and they may also become regulars.
I'm so glad to hear that the whole group enjoyed their stay in our beach home. The town you walked to is Oceanside, not Seaside... and yes, it's a nice walk. My wife, son and I like to get that walk in when we stay in our beach home also, and the best time to find sand dollars along that beach is after a high tide as the tide goes out. ( Btw, Seaside is about 60 mile to the North of Netarts, that would be some walk... lol ) Thanks for sharing some thoughts about our home and your stay, Dave (Owner)
My husband, son and I had the joy of renting this beautiful home over Christmas. Our four-year-old was delighted to discover the loft which gave him a view of the bay and a window to see what we were doing below. He loved the many children's books in the loft, especially the one on constellations. He also enjoyed the bunk bed; he would go down for naps with no problem because he was so excited to sleep on the top bunk!
We loved the amazing view; when I was washing dishes or prepping food I was able to enjoy the bay and ocean beyond. Highlights include: instant access to the beach (important for little ones!), gorgeous view from both living room/kitchen and master bedroom, waking up with a view of the bay from the master bedroom, having a real fireplace at night, being able to step out on the deck to see incredible views of the stars, and being 2 minutes from Roseanna's, our favorite restaurant (they serve delicious clam chowder!).
We cooked a lot, and so the fully stocked kitchen came in handy: they even had a coffee grinder which we put to good use!
We tried a little fishing from the shore, but next time may try crabbing (we saw one of the neighbors swimming out on a surfboard to set crab traps...he informed us they caught on that morning and were cooking it for lunch!). On top of everything else, peace fills this home. We loved our stay so much it was very hard to leave!
Our party of 8 people stayed at this beach house and I would highly recommend it for any group. The house was even more amazing than it looks in the pictures. It was set up with everything you could want. We do alot of cooking and the kitchen was well stocked with an excellent selection of cookware, utensils, dishes, beverageware, etc. The beds were extremely comfortable. Having the fireplace(s) was great since it was a bit chilly out. We loved having the entire oceanside of the house glass so that we were able to look out at the ocean all the time. It was a great beach walk in either direction. I only wish we had been there in warm weather since the protected area would have probably been a great swimming area. Everyone in our party was thrilled with this rental and we would recommend it highly.
