Beautiful home! Well appointed....peaceful setting.

  • 5 of 5

Our family met up from three different locations for the weekend for an archery tournament in Tigard. The house exceeded our expectations! The bedrooms were large and very comfortable. Comfy mattresses and pillows...which are often overlooked. The gathering areas were spacious for our group of 9. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The owner was very responsive when we needed her, and not intrusive when we didn't. She recommended a wonderful personal chef, Sabra, who prepared a lovely meal for us while her partner Jerry entertained us with his accordion. My grandkids were enthralled with the instrument and danced and twirled and made memories that will last forever. The setting of the house is so beautiful. Although it was very cold the weekend we were there (there were even snow flurries) the mist and the clouds over the trees and the pond were breathtaking. The grounds and the house are pristine! My Mom uses a walker and was able to navigate the few steps to the main floor bedroom. My grandchildren loved the toys, games and books that were available. The owner clearly takes pride in her property and it shows! I'm already scheming how to include Bella Vista into future vacation plans. You will not regret booking this home. Enjoy!

Beautiful ranch, spacious, awesome amenities

  • 5 of 5

Bella Vista was a very comfortable ranch (we were 10 in all and a pet). We have the utmost appreciation for how well appointed it was - from the kitchen to the bathrooms - every detail on a high end home was well thought through and provided in a grand vacation rental. The enormous property makes for great walks and interactions with the working stable and horses. The owner is a very gracious and welcoming host and helped us with intimate knowledge of Willamette Valley - from dining to wine tasting. Highly recommend this opulent get away!!

PURE BEAUTY AND HEAVEN

  • 5 of 5

Bella Vista was absolutely the most incredible girls weekend stay we could have wished for!!!! This was such beautiful home with such character. This house was spotless, so clean, and cozy!!!! Plenty of bedrooms for the girls to sleep comfortably, the location was close to the wineries, and there were gorgeous grounds to take walks and relax! Property owners/management were always available if we needed. It was the perfect girls weekend, and we can't wait to return.

Second Visit Surpasses First

  • 5 of 5

The first visit to this wonderfully comfortable home in 2014 was great but this second visit was even better. The spotless, well laid out house, the views, the deck and general ambience make the visit so comfortable and welcoming. We had several home and group cooked meals which kept us together and actually, probably saved money. Then we got to watch the Olympics in the accommodating TV area. New tile and different carpeting were a thoughtful and no doubt costly change. I highly recommend this location.

We loved this property, the amenities and the great service. It was so comfortable for our large family. We would go back in a heartbeat! If you appreciate a clean upscale environment with beautiful gardens and decks you will love this home! Thank you Barbara! The Bailey family

management style unsuitable for rental property

  • 2 of 5

Although the house and property are beautiful and extremely accommodating, we unfortunately had an unwarranted response from the owner about having 5 extra family members over to the house for a glass of wine. There was a family of 12 adults and two children staying at the house celebrating the wedding of a 34 year old son. ALL of the wedding festivities took place away from the accommodations. The evening before the wedding, we returned to the house with 5 extra adult family members after the rehearsal dinner away from the property. Having a glass of wine on the patio and cooking s'mores on the campfire, we received a phone call from the owner stating that she was trying to breathe through the fact that we had too many people there, she was libel for any driving when people left, her septic was being stressed, and could we break it up?? Seriously. She couldn't have had better or more respectful tenants in the house. If this was to stress her out, she should consider the business in which she has found herself. Beautiful home, poor managing style. You should consider this before renting.

Owner's Response: These guests were very lovely and respectful. However, it is apparent we were not in agreement with the outside guest policy. This brings a great opportunity for us to clarify Bella Vista's guest policy. Any extra guests or gatherings need to be cleared in advance. It is stated clearly in our reservation form that prior arrangements need to be made. In addition, when I was giving the welcome tour we actually spoke face to face about this exact type of “extra” event which is a common request of wedding group families. It is a huge concern for us to have anyone leaving Bella Vista after consuming alcohol. You may live it up on the property, enjoy the fire pit, have as late and as loud of a good time as you want, however no drinking and driving PLEASE! We love the vacation rental business and our guests have never had any complaints as you can see from the many other glowing reviews. Welcoming you to this beautiful part of the world and showing you all that there is to see here is a passion for us. We strive to offer you everything and more than we have promised and ask for the same from our guests. If you intend to have a gathering with people other than guests staying on the property, please let us know in advance. Thank you!
