This is a family owned property. Our son's Bill, Steve and grandchildren, Lliam and Aidan all love 'the cabins'. This property is close to our heart. We always try to meet our guests. We hope that they are enjoying themselves and will go out of our way to make sure this happens.
Teresa O'Leary purchased this cabin in 2005
Purchased primarily because of the proximity to the lake and the beautiful cabin interior.
Swimming, boating, hiking, fishing, campfires, charcoal grill cooking, serenity, simplicity, downtime, alone time, hanging with family, close to good restaurants. Great weekend place for Tough Mudders, before and after the race.
Great place, serenity is what we needed and we got it there. Cabin was well furnished with all the necessities. Close to the lake, breathtaking view.
Great owners, very personable and welcoming. Cabins were very cute and very clean. Had a family get together, rented all four cabins it was perfect!
We loved our cabin. It was clean and comfortable. Host was welcoming and very helpful. Lake was near and we enjoyed swimming and fishing in it. We will definitely come back next year.
my family has been coming here for NEARLY 50 years,!!!! its our "home away from home' Clean.comfortable.and relaxing. the perfect place!!!
This was our second time here at the cabins, and just like last time, had a fantastic week. Our dog loves it here, and was so excited when we arrived! She definitely remembered it from last year. Location is great, peaceful and quiet, loved kayaking in the cove and being able to dock our jet-ski. The cabin is adorable and has everything you need. Hope to stay again next year. Teresa, we enjoyed meeting your son Steve and his wife. PS: I sent you an e-mail with a question re: next year.
This was my family's first year visiting Lake Wallenpaupack and we could not have asked for a better place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed and being right on the Lake was a definite bonus! I was so happy to be able to bring our two year old Lab with us. Teresa stopped to see us during our stay and gave us recommendations for local restaurants. I feel the personal touch was above and beyond. We had a great week on water, walking around the property and driving through the area where we saw lots of wildlife (over 40 deer, bald eagles and even a bear cub). My daughter did not want to leave when the week was over. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
