This cottage was built in 1935 on a local historic farm minutes from downtown Asheville, 15 min from the Biltmore Estate, and 25 min from Pisgah. There are views of rolling hills, beautiful sunsets and wonderful fall colors. The cottage is positioned above a bakery. On the property there is a variety of free range chickens and a few neighboring donkeys.
The interior of the cottage is comfortably furnished with antiques and local art. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, hot plate, coffee maker and plates, cups, and silverware for two. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
After a day of activities, enjoy the privacy of a cottage in the country or sit by the bonfire under the stars.
Wonderful, cute place! We loved waking up to the rosters in the morning. The place was very clean, the bed comfortable. We hope to stay again and have our grand daughter meet the roosters!
Cottage is charming and efficient. The decor is cozy and just what we needed to feel like we were "away from it all" while being close to all the hiking and downtown Asheville. It's on a little family farm - you'll hear the chickens and donkeys, but for us that just added to the atmosphere. One morning we watched the hot air balloons land while drinking coffee. Almost felt too good to be true. Owner was friendly and space was very clean. We will be back!
We have spent time at this location previously. It is a beautiful country setting yet close enough to do all the things Asheville offers. As far as we are concerned it is like your own hotel suite in a country setting. Clean and peacefull
