About Suzette Gramm
Barry is a retired pilot. He flew F15's in the USAF and then for Fed Ex. Suzette is a nurse and is managing an Orthopedic practice and surgery centers. We have 3 sons, 3 grandsons, and a granddaughter due in November 2015. We live in Florida, but we have some wonderful friends / caretakers that keep the cabin in tip top shape.
Suzette Gramm purchased this Cabin in 2009
Why Suzette Gramm chose Townsend
The house was owned by Suzette's sister who did many wonderful upgrades and initial decor of the cabin. We enjoyed many family vacations in the cabin and when my sister wanted to sell the cabin we purchased it to keep it in the family.
What makes this Cabin unique
The view from the deck is unsurpassed in the area and the deck is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Having lived in Florida so long, we really enjoy that we can enjoy all 4 seasons at the cabin. Townsend is on the "quiet side" of the mountain yet close enough to Knoxville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge to enjoy the "touristy" stuff and then come back to the cabin for relaxation and family time.

Family Wildflower Trip
Great experience as usual. House is still great. Perfect for our family.
This place was everything it was advertised and more! Clean, spacious and beautiful views!
The pictures of this cabin don't do the views or cabin charm any justice! The views of rolling hills and smoky mountains in distance were breath-taking morning and evening! The country/rustic charm/decor of cabin and homey feel was so welcoming and the kitchen was one of the most well stocked I have ever stayed in. It was more than adequate space for 13 people (6 adults/7kids) and still room to spare with 2 levels and 2 living areas. We were pleasantly surprised to find a jacuzzi tub in the master suite bathroom! There was not a lack of things to entertain kids with game room that had pool/ping pong table, fooseball, board games and 7 televisons. The intructions for checking in/checking out/tips/rules sent to me by e-mail were very helpful as well as supplied in written copy at cabin were more than helpful. If I had any questions the owners were quick to respond by phone/email and the care-takers who live nearby were quick to respond /come onsite when we had any issues or concerns...which were minimal. The only problem I can really say we had was trying to sign onto the account and navigating for streaming TV easily/play video games and not all of them worked! Tho we were able to resolve it and temporarily fix the problem...because we had tech savvy people in our group. But the owner and caretakers were quick to assist. This is a very family friendly and very nice cabin to stay in that is centrally located to all the major attractions...Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove etc. The local town just 5 minutes away is very charming with antique shops, little museums, country store, caverns, tubing rental places and gas stations/grocery store as well. For the location, everything you get and very affordable prices this place can't be beat. We will be coming back for sure!
Best One Yet
We have had several family vacations in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas. This time we wanted to be out of the touristy area and closer to our daughter’s destination wedding site in Walland. This was the first cabin I can truly say that I can rate as clean! Beautiful scenery from the porch.. plenty of space and amenities for the family members, but close enough to get to all the places you would want to see. Even though our visit was mid April, we had two days of snow flurries and the caretakers of the property were wonderful enough to come and relight the pilot light in the fireplace. If there was ONE negative point, it was that even if the heat is on, the downstairs seems to stay very cool.... the heat doesn’t get down there at all. For this they have electric heater fans in every bedroom. Definitely a place we would put on our revisit list for that area! Thank you 😊
I am glad the wedding went well and you enjoyed your stay at Cedar Creek Manor. Thank you for great review! Diane - the caretaker is superb - she keeps the cabin "spick and span" - couldn't do without her. Would love to host you again the next time you are in the area.

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood just enough away from busy Pigeon Forge.
Loved the home and loved the view and quietness of the location. Front porch was the best part for me. Kids loved the play room of course lol. That Mountain View is everything though. Home was fully stocked with everything needed. I didn’t notice fireplace was on when we arrived. Noticed the following night. Maybe you should do a check when you arrive. Definitely coming back. Hopefully can see snow next time.

We loved the cabin! It’s a perfect place for my scrapbooking group! We will be reserving the cabin again. The only issue was with the fire stick and televisions in the living room and downstairs. They were very difficult to ge working. We never got the fire stick to work downstairs but was able to use he smart tv.
So glad your scrapbooking group had a great time. Thanks for the feedback on the tv's. We will update instructions.

Another great time!
This was our family's 3rd time to stay here and we had a great time. The accommodations and furnishings are 1st rate and, of course, Townsend is the best place to stay near the park.
We appreciate you being a repeat guest! Come back any time.
