We loved this lake house. It was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The property is just beautiful and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The boat was great to have! Our boys enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock. We will definitely be back.
We rented this house for Memorial Day weekend and could not have made a better choice!! The house is very nice and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Having the boat was AWESOME!!! We hired a fishing guide for the first full day of the trip ( http://www.jimsfishinglakepalestine.com/ ) and he pointed out some great spots for us to fish later in the weekend. We ended up catching over 100 fish! The property around the house is very well maintained and absolutely beautiful! We will be back at this house again in the very near future!
Was so impressed with the accommodations and the beauty of this property. Steve and Kim made sure we had all we needed. The boat was a blessing and the kids loved tubing and fishing. Pier was great for fishing and swimming. Beautiful views, wildlife and caught lots of channel catfish. This is a gem!! Never left the place and just sad to leave!
Owner very available and helpful. Clean, nicely furnished. Boat a real pleasure for grandchildren. Caught many small catfish from dock.
My husband and I stayed in this beautiful home a few years ago for a romantic getaway for the two of us. We were there in March, and the weather was cold which was perfect for us. The home has a beautiful fireplace, and the owners were kind to bring wood to us each day so we could use the fireplace. They were friendly and helpful, but allowed us our privacy, which is exactly what we needed. This home sits at the back of a neighborhood, but all of the windows and the house face the lake. We enjoyed the view so much and walking on the pier. We bought our food and cooked while we were there with a fully furnished kitchen. You could really tell that the owners take personal pride in seeing to their guests and their accomodations. Thanks, Kim and Steve, for making our experience wonderful.
We stayed here in June 2011 and had a great time! The owners, Kim & Steve, were very pleasant and accommodating. The house was nice and clean and the pontoon boat is in very good condition. The overall stay was better than we anticipated. We will be going back...hopefully sooner than later.
