Located in upper Timberline Village three miles East of Packwood. The cabin is set in a small cul-d-sac on a quiet wooded lot. Address is 104 Long Branch Lane, Packwood, WA 98361.
It's approximately 5 miles from Mount Rainier National Park and 15 miles from White Pass skiing. The neighborhood is surrounded by Gifford Pinchot National Forest with many hiking trails nearby. The property is at 1500 feet elevation.
The kitchen, bathroom and living room are located on the main floor. The stairs off the living room lead you into the first bedroom that has a full size bed. A door from this room leads you into a second bedroom that has a queen size bed, and a balcony that has a mountain view through the tall fir trees.
This cabin is a great weekend getaway cabin. It sleeps four comfortably and is well outfitted for your stay. Our cabin offers the perfect place to get a good night rest for the outdoor adventure seekers or a quiet getaway from the city at a great nightly rate. It provides lodging as close to Mt. Rainier and one of Washington's top ski resorts as you can get.
I offer this at a great rate for the budget minded travelers and strive to make each guest happy with their stay.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send me an inquiry so I can help you plan your vacation.
I'm pleased to share the cabin with you and your family.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2008
I chose Packwood because of the many outdoor activities. The wildlife is abundant and the local residents are great.
Great skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, hunting, wildlife viewing, mountain climbing, fishing, and adventure seeking.
This place was very relaxing and surrounded by wildlife. The town center is full of very welcoming and nice people. Perfect location for a weekend getaway for hiking. I can't wait to go back next year! No wifi, if that's important to you, so bring your own hotspot.
This was a cozy little cabin in a pleasant setting near Packwood. Lots of little conveniences (linen, salt and pepper, TV with DVD) made for a nice stay. It is quite a small cabin. Steep stairs might be a problem for small children or elderly.
It was perfect. Right by excellent fishing and hiking spots. Close to town in case you need supplies. Loved it. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. About my only complaint would be no Wi-Fi or cable services. (That is very easily solved. If you go into town plenty of movie rental options. ) = )
We rented this cabin for a family ski trip at white pass. The ski resort is approximately 20 min away. We have a family of 5 which this cabin accommodated us all. The cabin was clean and well maintained. Had all the essentials we needed to play games, watch movies or just relax and read by the wood stove. It has an outdoor fire pit if we wanted to move to the outside. Sits in the woods of a great little neighborhood atmosphere but still gives you plenty of privacy. We would definitely rent this cabin again.
The cabin is cozy but the kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom is nicely updated. The wood burning stove made for a cozy stay. Skiing at White Pass was great!
We love the cabin, very cozy and quiet. The area doesn't have good data coverage nor wifi in the cabin. We had a lot of fun time with family/friends playing board games, chating. Much better than using smartphone/computer all the time. White Pass is also an excellent ski resort that I highly recommend, only 20 mins from the cabin. We will definitely come back again soon!
