Convenient to public transportation and restaurants, bars and shops, that San Francisco is known for.
The full size bed is a new Temperpedic mattress and very comfortable.
Bryan was a wonderful guest, and great communicator. He took great care of the place and we never had to be concerned about a thing.
If he wants to stay at your home, do it, you won't be sorry.
I was very fortunate to have been able to stay for 7 months. The location is, as others have stated, just steps from the J Church line which takes you all the way downtown (or to an easy transfer to the N Judah line which goes to UCSF). The trip to UCSF is about 25 minutes on Muni or less than 15 minutes by Uber (it's about 20 minutes to Mission Bay). I did not have a car and managed quite easily without one. It is also rare to have an elevator in a building like this, and it's nice not to climb all of the stairs with laundry, groceries, etc.
The pictures do not do justice to the view, and the place is in a lovely neighborhood that is convenient to everything. The Muni can be an early morning wake up some days (as can the trash trucks), but that just gives you more time to enjoy the sunrise and the views. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Dolores Park is beautiful (and popular!). The Bi-Rite Market on 18th is worth the visit just to be a part of the scene (and to be introduced to novel and fresh produce). They also prepare food on site which was a staple for me.
Like the others who have posted reviews, I can't say enough about how fortunate I felt to stay here (and I cannot recommend the place highly enough).
I stayed here for approximately three months and could not have asked for a better experience! The location is amazing and the apartment had everything I could have possibly needed to make it feel like home! Cannot recommend enough.
Recently I had to spend two months in San Francisco. After evaluating dozens of possibilities, I chose to stay in this unit. It was perfect. The location could not have served my purpose better. It's in a very quiet neighborhood yet just a few minutes walk from loads of restaurants, supermarkets and bars. Or for further trips the J Church trolley is just STEPS away. Not once did I feel inconvienced by not having a car.
The second bedroom came in quite handy to accommodate the occasional visitor. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious and the living area is comfortable with a huge sectional couch and television.
If I ever have to return to the Bay Area I hope that this unit will be available. Oh, I also have to mention the view; spectacular! Especially in the evening. A very comfortable apartment at a fair price.
My partner and I rented this apartment for 2.5 months when first relocating to the Bay Area. It was perfect and made such a huge transition as seamless as possible- so much so we almost rented as long as their calendar was open! The owner has provided everything you'd need, there is a separate office (with pull-out bed) for working at home, the view is amazing and provided a peaceful end to each day, and Ainslee (property manager) was warm, thoughtful, and responsive. Centrally located with easy access to lots of public transportation, walking distance to Noe, Castro, and the Mission. They also accommodated our two dogs (with additional deposit). We really cannot recommend this place enough-- truly!
I stayed at this apartment for around 4.5 months while I was a visiting scholar at UCSF and I had a fantastic stay. The apartment itself is great and had everything I needed as well as a truly spectacular view of the city. I spent many hours sitting on the balcony taking in the view. For me the location was ideal. It is close to Dolores Park and right next to the J Church Muni. The neighborhood is wonderful and I always felt safe. I would walk to the Castro, the Mission and Noe Valley from there. I highly recommend this place!
I stayed here for 3 months in the summer with a roommate. We both were doing internships in san francisco and this apartment was ideal. It had everything you will need, all you would need to buy is food when you come here. Also, the views from the windows are beautiful. It is located right next to a Muni stop so public transport was easy. Generally a quiet building so you obviously cannot be really loud. The second room is a den with a sofa bed. Lots of closet/storage space in bedrooms. There is a beautiful park behind the apartment as well as tons of eating places. Owner and Ainslee were very nice and understanding. Had an amazing time here this summer! Would recommend this place to everyone!
