This recently constructed cabin was built with luxury, entertainment, and romance in mind.
Cozy up with someone special in front of the hand cut stone fireplace in our spacious great room. Enjoy a king size master bedroom suite, with a quaint personal balcony overlooking the Toccoa River.
Entertaining is easy in our fully equipped kitchen, including a gas range, microwave, coffee grinder, custom countertops, walk-in pantry, separate wet bar and bar-fridge, complete knife and cookware sets. Or cook outside on our charcoal grill. Gather around the Kitchen Island while preparing dinner, or around the tv and fireplace in the connected great-room. Dine inside or out using either of our two 8 person dinner tables.
The large private hot tub is perched on the hillside, overlooking the river. The game room sports a full size shuffleboard and electronic dartboard. Overstuffed chairs throughout the cabin allow for relaxation and reading.
Cook s’mores in our large dug-out fire pit steps away from the Toccoa River. Enjoy great fishing, and the best stretch of inner tubing around ends at our private sandy beach.
On top of all that we have large flat screen TV’s, wireless Internet, and all the other amenities from home: satellite television, fresh linens, gas assisted wood fireplace, washer and dryer, ipod docking station, etc.
Counting the pullout sofas and bunk, we have six beds, And if that doesn’t accommodate your big party, ask me about my Father’s cabin next door!

I live in Atlanta with my Fiancee and we love to spend as many weekends as possible relaxing at this cabin, though I can't get her to help me clean the fish.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2009
Me and my Father built this cabin in 2009. We live in Atlanta, but stay here or at his cabin next door whenever we can. But we can't bear to see them unused, so we rent it out when we aren't there. We know you will love it.
We put a lot of effort into making this the perfect place to entertain friends and family. We love to cook so we outfitted the kitchen with everything we would ever need. We love games, so we put in a Dart Board, a shuffle Board, and even a ring on a string (it's a local thing). The hot tub seats 6, the river fits even more. Some local friends carved us a beatuful door, and you will be amazed by the local stone countertops. I have a hard time calling this place a cabin, since it's nicer than my home and you will hardly be roughing it, but when you are sitting in front the fireplace with someone special to you, you'll absolutely love it.
This cabin is gorgeous! The kitchen is stunning. I enjoyed walking around the house and checking out the craftsmanship. The water is mesmerizing. I could stare and listen to it for hours. We made a fire each night, fished, relaxed and took day trips. We hiked to a real waterfall in the mountains and it was so worth it! Thank you for sharing your home.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful! The owners were quick to respond and easy to work with.
The only negative thing i can say is the beds were a little hard for my taste. but everything else was awesome. Neighbors were very friendly with advice on where to go for anything? we were right on the river so i don't see how you can go wrong with this one. The attention to detail in this home was something i didn't expect.
We had a very nice time on the river. The house was very well outfitted, toilet paper paper towels. We ate in most meals so was glad to see the kitchen so well outfitted. We enjoyed eating out on the deck. We did eat a few meals out and it is not far from town. So many nice restaurants to eat at. We ate at Blue Ridge Brewery and the Black Sheep. Both were very good. We enjoyed the firepit and did smores down there. Also got in the hot tub and enjoyed that. Kids got in the water. While we were there we went whitewater rafting on the Ocoee, kayaked the Toccoa River and tried to paddleboard but the proprieter of the only game in town was not very agreeable. We went to the Saturday open farmers market in town and really enjoyed that and picked apples at Mercier Orchards (they also have great vegetables and fruit.) If you want to use inner tubes, bring them from home. None at the house and none at the wallmart or dollar store, and I thought it was still summer. No problems with the tv, but internet service didn't work till the last day there. The driveway is a little intimidating at first but if you really can't handle it, I am sure you could park down below and use the stairs. The recomendations below say age 55+, I would check it if you can handle stairs because my husband and I are both 55+ so use your judgement. I used the stairs as exercise. All and all we had a wonderful time.
I dealt with the owner's parents and they were just delightful! The upgrades in the cabin are exquisite. The view and sound of the river from the balcony were breathtaking, the peace and relaxation I needed! You won't be disappointed!!
We stayed at River Repose for a week in June. We were in awe of how beautiful the house and the surroundings were. We took full advantage of everything. We rode tubes down the river and had a bon fire at night. I can’t say enough about how beautiful and perfect everything was. Pictures don’t show this place the justice it deserves! The large deck outside of the kitchen was used daily! It was a lovely place to eat or work…with a wonderful view of the river.
Our ONLY “complaint” was that the satellite reception was inconsistent. However, there is nothing anybody could really do about that. All week it was cloudy…and we were on a mountain! I recommend bringing Apple TV or Google Chrome.
We’ve been home 2 days and we are all missing it already. Thank you for sharing your home!
We can provide inner-tubes so you can float down the river!
