It has a larger living area than the Crest Unit and it has a washer/dryer in the unit, which the Crest Unit does not. Other amenities include a full kitchen, dining area, 3 TVs, 3 DVD players, 3 separate balconies, one with hot tub. A mid-week cleaning is provided. There is free wi-fi throughout the resort. Why choose the Cliff Club: We love it for its convenience. The resort is only 40 minutes from the airport. We usually fly in the night before. Spend the night in Salt Lake (very reasonable hotels!), rent our skis the next morning and are skiing the next afternoon. That evening, my husband goes back down the mountain and does a grocery shop for the week. Being able to fix breakfast for the kids at home means we can actually make it to ski school on time! Also, it is nice to be able to have apres ski and late night snacks without having to go out or pay for room service. The world-class spa is a wonderful amenity. Only kids 16+ are allowed. (No worries, the heated pool and hot tubs (with snack bar) downstairs are more than enough to keep the younger ones happy) The spa has a great sauna, eucalyptus infused steam room, fitness center, and a relaxing, outdoor hot tub/pool on the roof. Taking in a massage or yoga class isn't bad either.
More reasons to choose the Cliff Club: It is a great resort for kids. Not only is there a ski school for them, but there are after-ski activities. There is also a game room, ice skating rink and night skiing on the bunny slope. When our children were little, we would send them off night skiing and watch them from the balcony. There are loads of kids around and they all love the heated pool and hot tubs in the evenings. Finally, there is free valet parking. This means that if you want to ski at a nearby ski resort for the day, with one phone call, the car arrives snow free and warm right downstairs. The staff will even load your skis for you! If you plan to ski at either Snowbird or Alta (shuttle available) only, you don't need a car. The shuttle from the airport will make a grocery store stop on the way up the mountain for guests to buy breakfast foods and snacks.
We live in Florida. We have taken our 4 kids to Snowbird/Alta since 1999. They love our week at The Cliff. Now that they are in college and grad school, we have bought a second unit so we have more flexibility with spring breaks. We rent the week we don't use. Our kids are all great skiers -- much better than we are! - thanks to the excellent ski school programs at Snowbird and Alta.
Anne Joseph purchased this condo in 2004
We love the proximity of Salt Lake and Park City, altho we rarely ski anywhere but Alta. We often go down to Salt Lake for a basketball game or dinner. The condo is perfectly set up for bringing friends, and having the washer/dryer in the unit is a big plus! Don't be turned off by the pull out sofas. They are American Standards -- amazing beds. We have one in our guest room at home. Also, great restaurants and activities in the Lodge, and the spa is simply wonderful. If you want to have a terrific skiing experience, we can't think of a better place.

Great location, right on the slopes of a fantastic resort. Nice facilities, with picturesque pool and spa. Really enjoyed our time there. Anne (the owner) was very helpful and provided great recommendations for where to eat and ski. Would love to stay again.
Only thing I would note is this ski resort is really setup for people who are into their skiing. It would be challenging for beginners, and the village is limited. That said, if you love skiing - which I do - then you'll have a great time here.
The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird is nestled in the heart of the Wasatch Mountain Range 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. This unit is a timeshare. We have one week a year. This year we have March 17 through March 24, 2017. The rate is $4,000 for the week. This unit is the larger Pinnacle unit with 2 bedrooms (1 King bed and 1 Queen sofa bed in each) with full baths, and an additional Queen sofa bed and full bath in the common room. The Pinnacle unit has a larger living area than the Crest unit and a washer/dryer in the unit. Homeaway requires that a booking commission show up on your total cost. We will pay that fee, not you. However, you are responsible for Utah's 12% Transient tax. The damage deposit is for MAJOR damage (like holes in walls). The Cliff Club will take care of the small stuff. We provide a simple rental agreement with each rental to protect both of us. We can work out payment terms that are mutually acceptable in that agreement.
