Great property for the price. Perfect for 4 couples. We had a great time.
We liked the layout. The kitchen worked well for multiple cooks to be working at the same time. Beds were comfortable. Pool table has seen some use but is still awesome. We enjoyed the deck with lots of seating options. Played games and had dinner over looking the golf course. We didn't use the hot tub, but had a great interchange with the service people checking on it - very friendly and professional.
We would like to see a few more wine glasses and non-plastic glasses. And a few more dishtowels would be great. It's a great house, but we wouldn't recommend it for folks with mobility issues. Very quiet neighborhood and close to walking trails. Good communication with owner.
All in all, a great time and we are going to book for another few days next fall.
The house is in a quiet cul de sac with a great yard, hot tub and decks. It is on the golf course and has a beautiful view. It's a perfect set up so everyone can hang out together. The kitchen is huge - really nice for a large family and we all enjoyed the down stairs with the foos ball and pool table. Lots of bikes in the garage that were there for us to use. My family had a great time!!! The owner is nice and easy to work with.
Great house with a huge yard, spacious hot tub and plenty of room for eight or more people. I would recommend this house for your next vacation at Eagle Crest and I will definitely be renting it again in the future.
This is a great home facing the fairway of the Ridge golf course in Eagle Crest. Evenings were enjoyed on the huge deck and there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the views. The kids loved the game room - as did the adults! The kitchen is very well equipped and we loved that it was "kid friendly" and many items there for our use. Teresa was great in responding to our text messages about minor things - can't find switch to outside lights - bulbs burned out etc.
It does seem odd that this home sleeps 10 but only allows for 6 passes to the sports venues. The pools are small and they did close them when at maximum capacity - which makes sense. Still not sure why only allowing 6 passes.
Only other issue was the dryer and the request we have all the towels clean and dried before leaving at 11 checkout. We tried REALLY hard to meet this request because we wanted to respect the cleaning people and process. However - it was a push because the washer has really long cycles and the dryer takes FOREVER To completely dry towels. We ended up putting last load in wash in am but was not ready to dry when we left - before 11. Also, more towels would be nice in the bathrooms. The home sleeps 10 I believe and we had 6 towels. We ended up using the hot tub towels for bath towels which was fine but maybe letting people know the set up would help.
Thanks for the use of your home!
The home at Eagle Crest was beautiful, comfortable and as advertised. We enjoyed the great room gathering place and large back deck for sitting and relaxing--it made it easy for our extended family to spend time together without feeling too cramped. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, we all slept really well on memory foam mattresses. The downstairs playroom was a huge hit for our kids, ages 24 to 8, to have fun times with foosball and billiards, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Eagle Crest was a fun place to stay, with good bike paths (much hillier than sunriver, though!), fun walking trails and good scenery. We enjoyed time in the swimming pools--much less crowded than sunriver. I would really recommend this home for families wanting to enjoy an eastern Oregon get-together. For those with mobility issues: be aware that the house's entrance is up one flight of stairs on the outside and then puts you on a landing; you go up one flight of stairs to the main living area or down another flight of stairs to the play area and other bedrooms. The house is situated on a small court with a few other homes, it was very quiet and peaceful. We loved enjoying the views of Smith Rocks and the wide-open vistas from the back deck. The stars were amazing, too! The home's kitchen was well-appointed and fun to cook in. The linens, towels, and furniture were all clean and everything worked well for our stay. The homeowner was very pleasant to work with and offered great suggestions for things to do and places to eat during our stay.
