There are so many activities we enjoy in the area that we wanted to be able to enjoy coming to Bigfork at other times during the year. We enjoy flyfishing, skiing and horseback riding and the quality of life that Bigfork has to offer. We love the weather during the summer and the winters are remarkably mild with an abundance of snow.
Being so close to the restaurants and galleries and being able to walk everywhere in town while enjoying the river is wonderful. The river view is constantly changing as the flow of the river rises and falls with the seasons.
Property was everything that the pictures indicated and Linda was very responsive to everything that I needed. This was my first experience renting via VRBO and it was on very short notice to Linda and she had no problem communicating to me what to do and I had no problems accessing the property when we got there! We would definitely rent the property again as it was very convenient to doing everything downtown. Very spacious with great views, comfortable bed, nice bathrooms and overall a clean property. If I had to leave one comment on the negative side it would be the varnish smell from the new floors was quite strong and the fireplace had a mind of its on in terms of when it would turn on as opposed to turning on when you wanted it to.
Wonderfully appointed condo in the heart of Bigfork. There is nothing missing to make your stay perfect. Thank you Linda for your hospitality and for making your condo available!
Swan's Nest was the perfect location, with easy access to Glacier National Park and numerous other scenic locations. The condo is very nicely decorated/high quality and has everything you could possibly need for a short or long term stay. The balcony overlooks the swift rapid section of the Swan River, also know as the Wild Mile.
Electric Avenue is steps away, and has plenty of shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed Flathead Brewery, with it's beautiful view of Flathead Lake, which is just a very short drive from the condo. The Garden Bar is just out the door, and provides a place to enjoy an adult beverage and bar food.
Try to plan your meals ahead and make a shopping list. Kalispell has a Costco, Target, and numerous grocery stores. FYI: Grocery stores only sell beer and wine. Liquor must be purchased at a liquor store, but they only have liquor and wine, no beer!
Linda is very responsive and wonderful to work with!
