Sarah Goodwin purchased this studio in 2009
In Love with the Latin Quarter and everything that it can offer in terms of culture, restaurents and shopping. This is a central area in Paris.
I enjoy living in a comfortable environment for an authentic experience of what Paris has to offer!
Joe and I had a fantastic stay in Paris. Sarah was great with her recommendations and the check-in instructions were clear. We were right in the heart of the Latin Quarter and it was a great authentic experience. We will definitely plan to be back!
Check in and obtaining keys from boxes were clearly described and relatively easy to do as per property manager instructions. Room is well constructed. I must admit, and even though I read about it, the 4 floor climb can be a be a bit of slog at night after lots of sightseeing so you must prepare yourself. The shower is a bit compact but my only issue there was I found the drainage to be slow. But it did drain and so not blocked. Just need to get used it. As one reviewer mentioned this is way better than a hotel room and I agree wholeheartedly. You will enjoy get your daily exercise up the stairs too :). Really great location. If you close the windows you won't hear (or barely) some of the night noises from the bar down the street, It got a bit noisy from the joy of France winning the semi final game on July 7th. But really it was not bothersome at all! LOVE Paris ..
Stayed at this apartment for 6 days with another couple. There was just enough space for 4 adults. The kitchen was minimally equipped but we were able to prepare breakfasts and lunches. It was quiet and secure. The 4 flights of stairs would be a challenge for anyone with mobility challenges. The location was fantastic, 5 minutes walk from the Pantheon, 10 minutes to Notre Dame. Close to subway stations. Great restaurants in the area. Really enjoyed our stay!
We spent three nights in this apartment which was centrally located to popular sights and metro/train transportation. It was very clean and the owner was accommodating to extend our checkout to facilitate a few more hours of enjoyment in the city before a later day flight.
We would recommend this apartment.
My husband and I loved this location. The studio is bigger than most hotel rooms. It was great to have a shower and a kitchen! We loved the decorations and the furnishings. The location is great. Everything is within a 20 minute walk! We bought 10 metro tickets but had plenty left over. There are several bars and restaurants in the square below the studio and you get some noise from the patrons but it was not an issue for us.
The studio is on the 4th floor but there are 7 flights of stairs that sharply turn and are a little steep. This would not be the place for anyone with mobility issues. The climb is worth it for the view out of the window. You can see Notre Dame and the sun over the rooftops is beautiful.
The couch was comfortable to sit on but we did not convert it to bunk beds as we did not need them. The bed is a Murphy Bed which we left down during our stay. The mattress is very firm but we slept well on it. This place is great for 2 adults or 2 adults with kids. I am not sure that an adult or teenager would fit in the bunk beds but we did not open them up to check.
We would absolutely stay here again!
Fabulous stay at the heart of the latin quarter. The place was authentic but modern and updated. We really enjoyed it and Sarah was very helpful with the communication.
Location, bedroom, kitchen were good. Shower was bit too cumbersome. Not enough space to move. Washing machine very very slow and complicated (no manual provided).
Apartment is located above a popular bar and hence on Thu, Fri and Sat very noisy. One can cope with the noise using ear plugs. Staircase (up to 4th floor) can be a problem for people with knee or back issues.
The street was featured in Woody's Allen Midnight in Paris!
