One block from the beach and Palm Restaurant one of the few ocean view restaurants on the beach not the bay a great place for a night cap. Tax is waived on stays of thirty days or more. Discounted Schlitterbaun and Break Away Cruise activities available at the Ramada where key pick up is. Full refund if there is a sever hurricane threat.

Why michael klement chose Texas Gulf Coast

South Padre Island is not over commercialized yet compared to other beach resorts. Really the only true sandy beach in Texas. Private setting in a great location.

What makes this condo unique

Located in the center of South Padre Island all the necessities are within walking distance including Blue Marlin grocery store, Padre Island Brewing Company, and The Palm.

I own the Ramada on SPI and maintenance issues or other problems can be handled swiftly. Schlitterbaun and Break Away cruise activities can be purchased there at a discount. Two bikes are included.

We really liked the Condo.

The condo is centrally located, a nice size and it was very quiet. The condo met all our needs. It was inconvenient to have to pick up the key, our past rentals had security key pads. The bikes really weren't in riding condition and the kitchen wasn't fully cleaned. Other than that, we didn't have any issues that we needed help with. We loved South Padre Island, the restaurants and people were all great. We plan to come back some day!

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. Picking up the key versus a lock box has advantages and disadvantages for both parties but if I have additional feedback on the issue I have many keyboxes. Bikes were really in bad shape due to the climate. Sorry the kitchen was not cleaned well. I will speak to the maids. Thanks again.

Nice, casual place to stay.

We were very happy with the accommodations. Lots of room, well equipped, full kitchen, gas BBQ. The location was first rate - close to the beach (1 block), close to grocery store, liquor store and lots of restaurants. Nice and quiet and the service when we made any inquiries was prompt.

Clean, affordable choice for our vacation

We stayed the two nights at this location for our trip to south padre island. PROS: number is 2 is on the ground floor with nearby pool access. The beach was a short 10 minute walk away. Parking was large enough to accommodate two vehicles in each unit having their own assigned slot. The inside was spacious and had plenty of room to hold all four of us during our stay and having two bathrooms to share was a plus. It was nice that previous guests had left behind various beach items inside one of closets, but make sure you check it before taking it because some were broken.

CONS: the dishes that were left in the cabinets appears to have not been cleaned up very well by previous occupants. The refrigerator and dishwasher could both use a deep cleaning and The amount toilet paper available inside was less than a full roll per bathroom, but we were re supplied by the Ramada hotel after making a request.

Overall given the chance we would return to the location for another trip.

Excellent vacation

Great place!!! Spacious and very short walk to beach. Close to everything when it comes to entertainment. Great communication from owner. Would definitely recommend.

Nice condo, great price!

This was our first time renting a condo for a vacation so we didn't know much going in but it turned out great! It has a roommate type layout which was perfect since we traveled with another family. The pool is kinda of small but it is right by the front porch area, where you could grill and hang out. It was right off of the main road so we were able to get around and make it back to the condo really fast if needed. We spent most of our days out at the beach or fishing so it was nice to have everything you could need (except for food/snacks) back at the condo. I will definitely keep this place in mind next time we go back to South Padre. Wish we had more time, I would have gone for a bike ride with the bikes provided!
