Wonderful secluded house. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths (one queen plus four twin beds). Ideal location off Great Hollow Rd. in Truro. Short walk to pristine beach on Cape Cod Bay with swimming & hiking, gorgeous views and sunsets; five minute drive to Long Nook and Head Of The Meadow, spectacular ocean beaches, and many nearby ponds; ten-minute drive to Provincetown and Wellfleet.
Five-minute walk to wonderful little shopping center with produce, fish market and terrific ice cream shop. Classic Cape home with well-equipped kitchen, open, light-filled living room, solid wooden flooring and beams, washer/dryer, bikes, large digital TV with cable, wireless access, ping pong, board games, books, stereo. No pets or tobacco, no exceptions. Large private deck with umbrella table, lounge chairs, Weber grill and retractable awning. Well-lit wood plank walkway from driveway to house. Surrounded by an acre of trees, outdoor shower and hammock. This is truly a relaxing and comfortable vacation house.
The House: This is a fantastic, Cape Cod style vacation home nestled away in the woods--private, secluded, quiet, safe, easy to get to and very comfortable. It is also walking distance to anything you need--the beach, stores, bike trails and even a baseball field at the elementary school up the street.
We rent Saturday to Saturday in July and August., and are flexible in terms of which days and how many days for rentals in May, June, September and October.
I live in California, but grew up on the east coast. We used to go to Wellfleet every August, and in 1994 my family bought this lovely house in Truro. I am a musician, writer and teacher, and I love Cape Cod, especially the lower Cape--Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown.

Ours is a family house--we try hard to make everyone feel right at home. It's a warm, comfy, relaxing place with everything you need for a nice vacation, and the location can't be beat.
Of all the houses we saw this one had the special feel--and still does. We have a terrific team of local folks who keep an eye on the property year round. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

This sweet house was just right. We enjoyed the open layout, full kitchen, terrific roomy deck and warm feeling of home. Now that the kids are older they could walk or bike by themselves to the bay beach for swimming, kite flying and playing, and also zip down to the other corner on their bikes for groceries or treats. The house was nicely maintained, clean, and the local manager was incredibly responsive with questions. It was also so helpful to borrow the beach toys and playthings from the basement. We feel more like guests at a family home, less like we were in a rental. I'm coming back next year!
The location is ideal. We are a 7-8 minute walk to all of these....
*Great Hollow Beach, ideal for morning walks, clean beach swimming and awesome sunsets (end of Gr. Hollow Rd.)
*produce market, great fish market, Box Lunch, liquor store on Route 6 (one block)
*cafe, pizza, and great ice cream shop on Route 6 (one block north).
We are also a short drive to great ocean beaches. Head of the Meadow is three miles north of here. Our house is a ten-minute drive to Wellfleet and Provincetown, cultural center of Cape Cod.
Other Activities: clamming, beach picnics, biking the Province Lands Trail, sightseeing in Provincetown, bodysurfing at Head of the Meadow ocean beach.
Golf: Highland Links, described as 'the most scenic course in the USA' is less than 2 miles from our house.

2) Balance owed on rental ($1800/week July/August, $1500/week for May/Jun/September/October)
