ONE block to the beach and pier! Enjoy strolling the beach or hiking out in the estuary for bird watching or biking. Very quiet, yet near all of San Diego's main attractions as well. Long stretches of beautiful beaches without the crowds and only 20 minutes to downtown. Newly decorated second floor unit that is perfect for one couple, or a second on a sleeper sofa. Parking space, always in great demand, is provided for one vehicle on site. This part of San Diego will remind you of the original California surf city with great local hang outs and the sound of surf easing you to sleep each night. Great views, great weather and nice walks on the beach. Never a crowd, great surf and pristine water for ocean lovers. Weather is great year round but summer is best. Avoid the crowds by visiting in the spring and fall. We book up fast during peak season. What can we say.....you'll fall in love with San Diego and this little hideaway that is part of it.

I live here when it is not rented, so it has everything you would need to stay here a long time. This is my home of choice, I absolutely LOVE it! When not here, I live out in Rancho mirage, where there is excellant hiking and biking as well, also golfing!!
The Owner purchased this condo in 2009
I personally love this beach. It is a quiet residential beach town, dog friendly, and yet near to all of San Diego's wonderful attractions such as Sea World, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, etc. Lots of shopping as well. Great location! None of the loud, tourist town stuff!
I enjoy my beach walks, and , in the summer, laying out on the beach and enjoying a good book. Great surfing beach as well. We bike the estuary and all of the beautiful bike paths that lead from I.B. to Coronado, where you can take your bike on the ferry over to San Diego Embarkadero for very cheap!
I stayed her for about 6 weeks while I was waiting to move into my apartment. The place was great! Comfy bed, everything you need in the kitchen and throughout the condo. There's a great DVD collection in case you want to stay in and snuggle. I really enjoyed my time there.
We loved staying at Patti's Beach Condo, walked for miles and miles along the beach. Imperial Beach is the next up and coming beach town which offers wonderful events such as the Symphony by the Sea and a great little farmers market on Fridays.
We had the best time EVER staying at Patti's Beach Condo!!! It is so close to the beach - we always had sand in our shoes( in a good way!!) It looks exactly like the photos - and has everything you need and then some!! Loved the luxury towels and so handy having the little washer dryer right there!!
We loved exploring Imperial Beach which had a small town feel - and then of course there was San Diego and tons to see - we loved spending the day exploring everything and then - SO nice to come back and relax at the comfy condo!! Great food right in the area -loved Katy's Cafe - so yummy!! And our fav donuts where the jelly donuts at Yum Yums. So awesome!! We thought the prices were pretty good at the area restaurants!!
Come to explore - & enjoy sunsets at the beach!!!! We loved it!!
This condo is in a perfect location for an extended stay. it is within very easy walking distance to the beach and many restaurants and shops. The owner has thoughtfully included everything you could possibly need for a month-long visit and the decor has been carefully selected to reflect the surfer vibe of the area. I was very comfortable here and friends and family who came to visit all commented on how nice the condo was. Very nice neighbors, too!
The property where I stayed was exactly as described with regard to location and condition. The owner has maintained it as described and was very helpful through the whole process from beginning to end. All my questions and concerns were answered. It was perfect for me and, if anyone were to visit the area, I recommend it very highly.
There are so many things to do and see in the area. I visited the Midway, Safari Animal Park, the beaches and state parks, Point Loma, Tijuana, Julian for the apple pie, Temecula for the wines, Little Italy, Coronado, and Gas Lamp Quarters for many fine meals. The Wave for breakfast and the Thai restaurants in Imperial Beach had great food. The Stardust donut shop produces wonderful donuts as long as you can figure out their operating hours and get there before they sell out.
The weather can't be beat, but the prices are pretty high. But it all made for a great visit.
Imperial Beach is a very low key place with a great beach. Close to San Diego. There is a bike path along the shore to Coronado. And the 1 bedroom condo is in a very convenient location to it all. It is exactly as described in the listing, very comfortable, the owner is very responsive and easy to work with. I was very happy about this rental experience and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
some of the best surfing in so cali, pier fishing , bird viewing in the Tijuana Estuary (just blocks away), bike riding on the beach during low tide, some of the best biking trails in San Diego, you can bike from the condo all the way to Coronado on a beautiful bayside bike trail!
