Carroll Gardens House is nestled in the heart of Carroll Gardens, one of Brooklyn’s most charming brownstone neighborhoods.

The apartment is one full floor of a brownstone. The apartment is approximately 1000 square feet, with full kitchen, private bath, living/dining area, two bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed), small den with twin daybed and private outdoor deck. It's the ideal home base whether your visit is for business or pleasure.

Enjoy the many amenities this wonderful setting has to offer. There are dozens of restaurants and cafes within walking distance, many family-owned shops and local boutiques specializing in everything from children's clothing to housewares, and the beautiful Carroll Park directly across the street with 2 playgrounds, a softball field, a bocce court, 5 basketball courts, and a sprinkler in the summer. Our location, just a half block from the subway, couldn't be more convenient as a home base from which to explore New York's most popular borough.

Calendar - We keep the calendar up to date but advise travelers to always email for availability in the event we have a cancellation. House Rules- Comfort & Quiet - Carroll Gardens House is a private residence. We ask that our guests respect the comfort and quietness of the owners and residents. CGH is NOT a party house. It is a 130 year old brownstone on a quiet tree-lined block. Please keep voices and footsteps low when entering late at night. Smoking Policy – there is absolutely NO smoking in the apartment or outside on the deck. Pets - We do not allow pets. Cancellation Policy – Cancellation within 60 days for a full refund or 30 days for 50% refund. If we book the dates you have canceled we will refund you 100%. Park directly across the street with softball field, bocce court, 2 playgrounds, 5 basketball courts.

About Owner/Manager

We have roots in the midwest and Long Island, NY. We have lived in Manhattan and San Francisco and traveled quite a bit before we had kids. We feel lucky to have found this amazing community in Brooklyn and are thrilled to call it home.

Why Owner/Manager chose Brooklyn

We find this part of Brooklyn to have it all - delicious bakeries, inviting cafes and inspired restaurants plus original and eclectic boutiques, many family-owned businesses and beautiful parks - plus the convenience of any easy commute to the city.

What makes this townhome unique

We never tire of the sound of kids playing in the park directly across the street. There is always life happening just outside so perching in a windowsill is an entertaining way to spend a few minutes.

Our home features some of the original details including beautiful inlaid wood floors and high, tin ceilings married with modern, clean renovated kitchens and baths for 21st century comfort.

Family oriented....felt like our home away from home.

The location was excellent. Nice quiet neighborhood...subway, store, & restaurants were within walking distance. Perfect for a family vacation...all the convenients of home.

Just super perfect. Spacious, clean, best location in Brooklyn -- to explore the borough AND get to Manhattan. Gracious hosts (especially if the in laws are downstairs!); easy, friendly access. HIGHLY recommend!

The owner Jaime met us gave us a tour made us feel very comfortable. The neighborhood is very charming with wonderful cafés, delis, restaurants all around the corner, subway station not even a block away. It couldn't have been a better place to stay for our week in NYC!

Great Family Getaway

The apartment is lovely, spacious and clean, with all the necessities and a sunny little deck out back. The building is conveniently located near the subway, across the street from a playground, and between cross-streets filled with restaurants, grocers, and shops. We'll definitely try to rent this space again for our next family trip to the city.

Loved our Stay!

Jamie was very professional and responsive when I had prior questions about the trip from the airport. Jamie lives on-site and was present when we were later than expected due to airlines. Nicer/more towels and nicer blankets would be nice. Overall, the property is awesome, the street is quiet; a drug store and great bagel shop is right there. It's right on the F train! Our family of four loved it. Highly recommend.
