Very Nice

  • 5 of 5

We were looking to get away from it all and found it in this cabin. Inside it is very clean and up to date. You are in the woods and so outside is just that. Deer in the back yard. This our first trip to Glacier and wanting to check it out while doing some hiking. The cabin is about half way between West and East Glacier. Perfect for a first visit. Hiking trails are very near buy. I recommend this cabin. Get directions from the owner or you will have difficulty finding it even though it is near Hwy 2. It is nicely tucked back in a little thickly wooded neighborhood. An overall good experience.

Just minutes from East Glacier

  • 5 of 5

This is one of the favorite places we have ever stayed on our travels out west. It is tastefully decorated and evidently recently remodeled. The owners took great care when they planned this cute cabin. We were comfortable after our busy day at Glacier National Park and the full kitchen and outside grille were put to good use during our stay. Surprised a buck when I stepped outside one evening, or maybe it was the other way around! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Backwoods quiet in comfort

  • 5 of 5

We were quite presently surprised by the luxurious amenities provided inside the cabin and made full use of the well equipped kitchen and laundry machines. While it was nice for us to be "disconnected" from the world for a few days. Our families were getting worried. On sunny days like we had, I recommend running the ceiling fan to even out the temperature differential between the warm upstairs loft on the chilly downstairs. Cabin is well insulated the only noise is coming from the fridge, the ceiling fan and the freight trains rumbling in the distance.

Location near the southern tip of Glacier requires quite a bit of driving to take in the sights of Glacier. We would have liked to have explored the Forest Reserve without driving right from the cabin, but didn't feel prepared. It might be good to include information on local hiking trails in the reading material in the cabin.

A Beautiful Cabin!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, daughter, and I stayed in the cabin for three nights. This is the most beautiful cabin I've ever seen! The cabin and everything in it looks brand new and is soooo clean. The directions were perfect and the hosts, Sahm and Robert, couldn't have been nicer and more helpful with the many questions I had before the trip.

I was hoping to see wildlife while we stayed at the cabin and I wasn't disappointed - a deer in the front yard one evening, a moose wandering across the backyard one morning, and a young grizzly bear on the side of Hwy. 2 when we were driving back from the park!

I highly recommend this cabin!!

Beautiful Secluded Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was absolutely amazing! Secluded, but close enough to drive to experience all of the beauty of Glacier National Park. The second morning there a bear ran past the deck and we watched it play in the wild flowers. Thanks Sahm and Robert for sharing your beautiful cabin!

Great cabin, quiet, clean. Everything we needed for a great week.

Highly recommend this cabin. It's a drive to get to hiking trails but worth it.
