Perfectly located to all major attractions in Colorado Springs, close to Hwy I - 25 / Woodmen Road exit (the next exit south of Academy Boulevard exit). Your vacation home is just minutes away from movie theaters, a mall, fitness centers and many great restaurants. This home is perfect for attending Air Force Academy events or exploring other area attractions such as Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Manitou Springs, Cave of the Winds, the US Olympic Training Complex, The Broadmoor Hotel, World Arena functions and many more attractions. Other Activities: 10 minutes from the Air Force Academy's south gate, 10 minutes from UCCS University, 5 minutes from hot air balloon rides.
No pets, no smoking please. The kitchen is very well equipped with all new utensils, pots, pans, chinaware, baking dishes, blender, full size microwave, brand new stove, fridge, oven, and dishwasher, cozy breakfast nook with two bar stools right next to the dining room table that seats 6. The family room has a cozy fireplace and a flat screen TV with a DVD and VCR player.
If additional sleeping facilities are required the fully finished basement may be available for an additional fee that sleeps 4 and is equipped with a full bathroom, kitchenette, queen size bed and a pull out sleeper sofa.
The owners, Craig and Nicolette are great and very responsive. They made sure that everything was in place before we arrived. The place is absolutely nice and well equipped. It is so clean and bright, that I would recommend it to anyone visiting Colorado Springs. Plus the location is convenient and near to grocery stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here if we visit Colorado Springs again.
We stayed at the condo for all of the Fall 2016 holidays, for 2.5 months. It was ideal for our little family of four! The condo is exactly as pictured, and even better equipped. There is every tool, utensil and gadget you would need, which was huge for us since we made this our home for a quarter of the year. The condo is setup with the highest Xfinity package, that we may have to upgrade to ourselves because it really spoils you, especially the high-speed internet. The condo is a good size, with 3 upstairs bedrooms, 2.5 baths, full laundry room, and 2-car garage. We even had the space to put up a good-size Christmas tree in the living room. All rooms and linens were very cleaned and well kept, and the home is decorated making it feel very cozy and welcoming. The courtyard off the front is just the right size for 2 toddlers to enjoy some play in the snow, and allowed us to meet a few of the friendly neighbors. It is a quiet town home community located on the safe, North side of Colorado Springs and is close to good food, new shops and the Academy. We really enjoyed our time at the condo and wish it didn't have to end so soon. It was truly a home away from home for us. Thank you Craig & Nicolette for having us! You were both so friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond. We look forward to staying again!
We have stayed in Craig & Nicolette's condo for the last 3 years for at least 1 month at a time. The location of their condo is excellent!! It is close to restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores & the freeway. It is in a very, very safe neighborhood.
Craig & Nicolette are wonderful to work with & will immediately get back with you on any questions you may have. Thank you for letting us stay in your warm & accommodating condo. As long as our family is here, we hope to be back again.
I wish I could give 4 1/2 stars. :) We stayed at this house for USAFA Parent's Weekend. The location is very close t the academy. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. :) There are also enough towels, sheets, and covers. :)
Our only complaint is that the bed in the master bedroom was not very comfortable and made noise whenever one of us would roll over in the middle of the night....thus waking the other up. :) We solved that problem by putting our son in that room. :) Problem solved.
I definitely recommend this property and will probably stay there again. :)
We just had a wonderful weekend in Colorado Springs and one reason is the home we rented from Craig and Nicolette. There was so much room and everything was so clean and comfortable. The beds, pillows and towels were all soft and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could want or need. Our friends rented the basement apartment and we all enjoyed our stay. Craig and Nicolette were so prompt at answering our emails and texts. I would recommend this place to our family and friends! A wonderful home in the Rockies!
Four of us spent four days and three nights in this beautiful condo. The entire home was immaculately clean, well equipped, and welcoming. We found every possible type of pot, pan, utensil, and appliance we needed in the kitchen. The towels and supplies in the bathrooms were new and plentiful. The owners provided a binder thoughtfully filled with detailed information about the house and surroundings. They even included a discount card to the local supermarket. The owners were lovely, responding quickly to all our queries and providing excellent customer service. Can't wait to return on our next visit to Colorado!
P.S. If you feel like hiking, I highly recommend the hidden Paint Mines in Calhan, just 40 minutes east of Colorado Springs on 24. Breathtaking!
