The unit has been totally updated and offers everything you need for the perfect vacation getaway including free wi-fi in the unit! From the balcony you can enjoy gentle ocean breezes, morning sunrises and evening sunsets. Enjoy watching dolphins from the window or the balcony!!!

On the complex grounds enjoy the serenity and beauty of the wildlife sanctuary where numerous species of birds frequent the natural flora and fauna. If you wish to just settle down with a good book and sit by the heated pool there is always that option as well as playing tennis on one of the four clay courts.

The King size bed offers Kingsize pillows and comfortable pillowtop that will be a welcome snuggle after a full day of playing in the sun. There are plenty of extra pillows and blankets for you to make the 'nest' extra comfortable for your liking.

If you enjoy cooking during your holiday stay, the well equipped kitchen will allow testing of some new culinary delights. If you don't want to cook, there are an assortment of restaurants that are all walking distance, so you can try a different restaurant every night.

If you want the convenience of using your computer anywhere in the condo - you will appreciate the wi-fi that will work even on the balcony. Of course, if you don't want to look at your computer at all - you can just enjoy the wonderful breezes and view from the balcony.

The location is one where you can be active or relax - it is your choice.

  • Walk in shower recently done as well as a large vanity with lots of space for your toiletries. The toilet is a comfort height.

  • The bedroom has a KING pillowtop mattress and plenty of pillows. There is plenty of drawer space in the large dresser and the night stands. If there is a third person, there is a folding twin bed in the closet. Sheets in the vanity and blankets in the storage box at foot of bed. There is also a small flatscreen TV in the bedroom in case you want to watch something different than on the large flatscreen in the LR.

Cozy and comfortable

Just as others have said, Jana does a great job of creating a cozy, comfortable space with all the items you need to have a wonderful vacation. Tastefully decorated, comfortable bed, nice loveseat that reclines (might need to get on of those for home), ceiling fans, AC, kitchen well-stocked. Perfect for a couple - additional people would be a squeeze. Beautiful view from the balcony and the picture window. Due to hurricane, beach was recently replenished with sand, which is not the soft sand one expects on Ft Myers beach, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. In mid-December, we had sunny days in the high 70s-low 80s, restaurants were not crowded, and traffic wasn't crazy like it can be in high season. Highly recommended!

Great stay as always

Everything was great with the property. Our beach umbrella had seen better days but a quick call to Jana and she brought over a new replacement. We always enjoy our stay and will be coming back again.

Love this condo, we return every year!

The owner is very nice and easy to work with. Her condo is lovely, kept up so nice. We sit out on the balcony every evening that we are there to watch the beautiful sunset. We return to the same condo each year for our November week vacation :-)

Love this cozy condo

We have stayed in the lovely condo at least three times in recent years. We keep coming back because it is well maintained, furnished comfortably with a lovely decor and has a beautiful view. In addition, the owner is very responsive to any issues. Wish we could spend more time there. Thank you.

We had a week of relaxing, it was perfect. The condo and the grounds are well maintenance and well equipped. Stores and restaurants are in walking distance. We enjoyed watching the dolphins in the morning from the balcony. The owner Jana is very nice and easy to reach if necessary. We will definitely be back.

I love the Florida outdoors and that is why I moved here in 2012. The kayaking, bicycling, walking, and hiking are things that I can now do year around. I used to live in Wisconsin and do not miss the snow, cold and grayness. Why Jana Charvat chose South Island

just loved this condo from the moment I walked into it - between the quaintness and the view I was sold. My goal was to fix it up and share it with people who enjoy the beach and appreciate a condo that reflects TLC. Fort Myers beach just has so much to do and is so beautiful, are just two of the reasons that I bought here. Since I have bought the condo, everything has been updated and renewed with all new furnishings and a larger kitchen and updated bathroom with a walk in shower and large vanity. My hope is that this place will hold many nice memories for those who stay here as my guest.

Location, Location, Location! Quiet end of the beach and yet there are lots of shops and restaurants that are walking distance.

From this unit there is no need to have a car. Within walking distance are the Santini shops, restaurants, Holiday Inn Tiki Bar, entertainment, boat rentals, and golf course. Making island exploration easy, just hop on the charming Island Trolley (stop is a few steps away) which will take you all the way to the North end of the island or South to Bonita Springs. A different experience at every stop.

Cleaning Fee $95 + Tax
Tax Rate 11.0%

Please note I do not charge a damage deposit. I would much prefer you let me know if something breaks during your stay so that I can get it fixed. Also, please let me know right away if anything is broken or missing when you check in, so that I might be able to rectify during your stay. Thank you.

CANCELLATIONS –Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 5% cancellation fee or $50, whichever is greater. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent, unless Jana is able to rent those nights.

MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in. Again, refund will depend if Jana is able to rent those nights held originally.

I always recommend travel insurance for those unforeseen illnesses or accidents.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
