Great rental. Other reviews are very accurate, although we didn't see any cobb-webs or rusty drains. The facilities are quite enjoyable. The view is AMAZING!!! The apartment does present the illusion of secludedness. It's just... and this isn't my cup of tea, but if it was... you can't exactly walk around in your heebie-jeebies or you will be spotted by a neighbor. This condo is only one unit in a huge condo complex. So I don't know about "secluded" persé. I will say though, we were never bothered by anyone and the people there were very nice when crossing paths in the parking lot or whatever. The cleaning service needs to get all the way under the furniture on the hardwood floors. There was a buildup of dust visible under the couch.

But it honestly feels wrong to even bring up the two negatives in a sea of positives. Well worth the money. You won't be disappointed. The kitchen is very well equipped. Oh, bring drinking water, the tap water isn't the best tasting. though I've had worse (Vegas). The beach is actually not as far down as it looks. It's very close to town.

Anyways, good job guys!

Amazing View!!!

  • 4 of 5

Our family had a great time. The walk down to the beach was fun (trail is a bit steep in places) and all the diffrent flowers and plants were interesting to look at. The bunnies outside our window in the mornings were cute, and lots of hummingbirds came too.

The beach is great! On the right side there is a ton of tide pools with crabs, fish, and sea stars. On the left side of the beach you can go through the cave and and play on soft sandy beach with lots of diffrent rock formations, very beautiful, and private, we were there for 3 days and never saw another person.

The condo was nicely located and mostly updated. I gave it 4 stars only because there was a lot if cobwebs and dust, and the master bath shower is kinda gross and rusty. A good deep cleaning would really help, other then that it was clean. The beds were nice and the linens smelled good. I would stay again.

Very relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and are looking forward to going back. The condo has amazing views, and the trail down the bluff to the semi-private beach is beautiful and well maintained. The condo is nicely furnished, and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed; there wasn't a single thing we needed that wasn't provided.

While the front door is technically wheelchair accessible, the condo has a few drawbacks when it comes to ease of use for the disabled.

The ramp down to the door is quite steep, 12.4 %

The door to the bath with the step-in shower is so

narrower my mom couldn't get her walker

through the door.

The top of the bed mattresses are high off the

floor, and may be difficult for elderly or disabled

Even with the challenges, my 93 year old parents and I had a relaxing time and look forward to another visit sometime soon.

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

Very nice condo. The view was wonderful and it was a delight to watch the hummingbirds going after the feeders!

Close to the beach and very quiet. The path from the condo to the beach would not be suitable for people w/disabilities.

The TV in the living area was broken. We notified the rental company, but it was not fixed/replaced during our stay, however there are TV's in each of the bedrooms, so we survived. Who needs TV w/such a wonderful view. Could not locate any measuring spoons and the screen door was difficult to maneuver. A few other things to note would be that the curtains in the bedrooms are see through and I'm not sure when the last cleaning was done but there was considerable dust and dust bunnies under both beds. Otherwise, a great place to stay!!

Wave watching wonder weekend

  • 4 of 5

We spent 3 nights at the Seacliff Grotto condo at Rainbow Rock. This was a very stormy weekend but we enjoyed the cozy, comfortable interior & loved watching the waves crashing on the beach. The 1st floor was a bit dark, however, it had easy access from the parking lot. The kitchen was equipped with all the meal prep necessities. What we lacked in personal spices we made up with a quick trip to the Dollar General just down the road. The beds were comfortable & electric fireplace/heater a romantic plus. And having a garage to park the car in definitely was a bonus considering the weather !! If there was 1 thing that I might suggest it would be the addition of large mirrors to reflect the light.
