Guestbook comments from the owner

My Review: This cabin is a must enjoy get-away . It has the 3'C's- cozy, comfortable and clean. We sat on the dock and fished, enjoyed the lake and watched a sunset that evening that was splended. (And no mosquitoes!!!)It has more amenities than a hotel room and much more affordable. We would recommend this cabin for a quiet get-away with some rest and relaxation.

I would recommend this cabin for Adventure Seekers, Age 55+,Girls Get-away,Romantic Get-away

Reminded us so much of my wife's departed grandpa's house.

Lisa's communication could not have been better. So much thoughtfulness and love has gone into this place. I only wish I hadn't forgotten our fishing poles. We plan on going back.

Perfect place to unwind

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at the cabin for a couple of days on our way to a wedding in Duluth. It was the perfect place to unwind. The cabin was immaculate and stocked with everything we could need. We spent quite a bit of time out on the pontoon boat enjoying the quiet and beauty of the lake. Thank you Lisa for being such a gracious hostess!

Relaxing and perfect location

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for our honeymoon during the middle of August. It was wonderful! The cabin is very cozy and has all of the basic necessities (pots, pans, etc.). We enjoyed riding on the little pontoon and going fishing even though we only caught one tiny sunfish the entire stay. I think one of my favorite things about this cabin though is that it was a convenient location. It was only a few minutes drive to get to the town Mora for some smaller goods, and only half hour or so to bigger towns if you require a Walmart. One of the days when it was raining we drove to the Mall of America (About hour and a half south). Only problem we had was connecting to the Wi-Fi at the cabin. We probably could have called the technical support number that was provided but it wasn't a big deal for us so we lived without. My husband and I are already planning on returning for anniversaries in the future. Thank you Lisa!

Owner's Response: This cabin does seem to be in a perfect place for convenience. Thank you for adding that bit of important information. As you know, we had a tech out as soon as we could and he was able to fix the line. He found some bad wires on the outside so he never had to enter the cabin so that was really good. Everything is up and running as it should. I truly hope this problem remains solved so it will be working great on your next visit. Thank you so much for posting a review.

It was a girl's weekend getaway. The cabin is cozy, we felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. Lisa had a bottle of wine and some goodies waiting for us - She has the gift of hospitality and we felt spoiled! Thank you!

This was our 2nd time here and we just love it. It has everything you need, including firewood which most places don't provide! I get so sad when it comes time to leave because it's so relaxing there. Very lovely place

Amazing place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful place to stay! Very clean! The cabin has everything that you would need. Lisa was very attentive to all of our needs. We had a very small problem with the air conditioning seeming to not work when we were there. Lisa had a new air conditioner in place within a couple of hours. Just about everything you could think of for a vacation was there. Even outside grilling supplies, firewood for the fire pit, lighter fluid and even Smore sticks! Lisa has thought of everything! Plenty of books to read, games to play both inside and out, the solar powered pontoon boat was awesome for fishing, a canoe to enjoy an early morning paddle and even a paddleboat!

We caught lots of fish! Northerns, smallmouth bass, crappie, catfish, perch and sunfish. Many of the biggest fish were caught right off of the dock in front of the cabin! I highly recommend this property anyone who wants a clean and fun place to stay for a vacation or even a small getaway! We will definitely be back!
