About Kelly Barton

Our family loves coming up to Whistler during all the seasons of the year. Whether it is to ski on Whistler and Blackcomb mountains or to golf or hike, there is always something fun for our family to do.

Kelly Barton purchased this condo in 1999

Why Kelly Barton chose Whistler

We have loved coming up to Whistler for a number of years to ski and golf and have stayed in numerous areas of Whistler. We found that the convenience of being able to walk to everything (especially since we had a baby on the way at the time) made this place the perfect spot for our family.

What makes this condo unique

We really love having the heated year round pool and hot tub at this property and having the grocery store and Starbucks across the street from the complex has been a huge convenience for us.

Great location, facilities

  • 5 of 5

We had a really nice experience at NorthStar. The location is so close to the Village Stroll, as well as the grocery store and amenities. The communal pool and hot tub were excellent, much bigger than others we saw. Other guests there also commented that NorthStar was their favorite among other options, especially with kids.

The condo is nicely equipped and was comfortable for myself, my folks, and my 2 kids. Our April visit allowed us to ski one day and mountainbike the next! The kids Loved it. We enjoyed the fireplace and comfortable chill time too.

We had one small glitch along the way but found the owners to be very responsive and communicative. Instructions were clear and complete. I'm thankful to another reviewer who mentioned the garage clearance, as our roof rack soft case just squeaked in. And although parking was extremely convenient, we never used our vehicle - everything was that convenient.

Our Whistler highlights were the Peak to Peak gondola, Pinocchio's Furniture mountain bike trail (YouTube it), PureBread bakery (again, Very short walk from condo), nachos at Girabaldi Lift Co after skiing, and snowball fight at the Roundhouse Lodge. We'll be back.

perfect whistler location

  • 4 of 5

This unit is in the perfect whistler location.

Shopping and groceries are right across the street, and there is a local shuttle bus from across the street to the base of the mountain.

We have been coming to whistler for years and this location seems to be the perfect blend with all the conveniences of home, but close enough to walk or get any where.

The unit fit 4 adults without a problem

The underground parking was great and as close to the unit as you can get.

We will definitely stay again when we come back.

We did leave our ski's and poles at the Carlton lodge which is located right at the whistler gondola which makes things super easy.

Excellent Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Great location. Easy walk to the village shops, restaurants, and grocery store. Conveniently located for all the events that we were attending. The condo was clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well equipped. Great parking spot - easy access to car. Good privacy. Some road noise if the windows are open at night, no problem when windows are closed.

Great location - great place

We had a wonderful time in our stay in Whistler. The place had everything we needed, it was clean and tidy. Thank you for the courtesy parking on our last day and the stroller came in very handy too.

Whistler condo

  • 4 of 5

Very nice place, great location and loved the amount of dishes and utensils so we could actually prepare a meal.

Try de bed had only a box spring so it was not sleep able. Appreciated the reserved and visiting parking and kids loved the pool.

Great vacation! **and a warning :)

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed here for 3 nights-part of a mountain biking trip to Whistler. This unit was perfect! We arrived late, and not only was it easy and convenient to get into, it was maybe three minutes of walking to the IGA to grab some breakfast for the next morning. This condo was super clean, kitchen had anything you'd want, and the beds were very comfy! It was far enough from the village that you didn't get the noise (we were there over a weekend) but you were close enough to walk and enjoy all the village had to offer. We parked our car the first night and didn't see it again until we left! My kids loved the bunk beds-they are 16 and 12 and liked having space to spread out. Having a washer and dryer in the unit were very convenient for us. Loved the décor, and wished I had weeks to read the books on the bookshelves.... they all looked like books I would curl up and read. :) It was crazy hot, and we REALLY wanted to take advantage of the pool, but sadly we were wiped out after biking all day. The balcony was really nice-shaded and lovely. This was our first time in Whistler, and we LOVED the location of this condo. We would absolutely stay here again! *******One word of warning: we have an Expedition with Thule bike racks on the roof, and we were a bit too tall for the parking garage. (Yes, we took the bikes off :) ). A VERY nice tow truck driver directed us to a great spot, promised not to tow us as long as we were there, and was super helpful all around. Another great encounter in Whistler! :)
