About Annette Lieber

Our house on Lake Raponda has been in my family since 1963. My parent's owned the house then , and now I own it with my husband. Our children spent every summer here at the lake, reading, swimming, kayaking and being together with their cousins and grandparents. Our house is a family home. We take very good care of it and it has the feeling a a home that is loved and well cared for.

Peaceful, beautiful vacation at Lake Raponda

  • 5 of 5

We’re back from a fabulous vacation at the lake. Your home is beautiful. I could live full time in the sunroom. As a matter of fact, we gated off the house at the downstairs bathroom and the dogs never went to the “East Wing” until bedtime. Even though we never used the fireplace living room, I can see how great that would be in the winter time.

The views from your home are amazing. The weather was outstanding and the area around the lake was very peaceful. We were lucky enough to see the loon family and their new baby.

Everything was ready for us when we arrived. Hienz left the key, and stopped in on Sunday to make sure all was well. It was good to see him again. Barbara did an outstanding job, the house was spotless.

I can’t thank you enough for allowing us to rent your home, and let our dogs be a part of the vacation. Maggie loves it there, and Oliver did very well for his first time swimming and kayaking. We had such a good time, and really did not want to leave.

Thanks again.

Wonderful family vacation!

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful week in August here with our sons (8 and 12). The house was comfortable and spacious, the kitchen worked well and the collection of board games was perfect for a family vacation! Outdoors was also well equipped -- our kids loved the the dock and kayaks, and the tethered dock to swim out to, and we loved lounging in the chairs in the sunshine and playing badminton.

In town we ate at the outdoor burger place, visited Bartleby's books often, and went to the mini-golf and bowling place one evening. We also loved the ability to pay for day use of the Hotel's pool/hot tub and game room in Wilmington -- great rainy day activity!

My only suggestion/clarification for future visitors would be to make sure you find out early in the week which days the dump is open, as it is not often, and trash disposal at the end is your responsibility.

Highly recommended!
