The house was exactly what we were looking for. It was about 20 minutes to Killington. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The only complaint I have is that we wanted to grill one night and there was no propane for the grill but we made due with the charcoal grill. The hot tube was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay.
It's been twice we rented the house and really liked it. Great location to go skiiing in Killington (15 min drive away), while offering great calm for after ski. There are sufficient rooms to accomodate multi famlly, including families. The house is clean, very functional and great for groups. And one of the most awesome features is the large outside hot tub, a must have for the after ski ! Really recommend for large group of friends or couples with kids.
Without snow, this winter has been tough to NE skiing. This has nothing to do with the house itself. However, with a few days actually raining & unable to ski at all it makes "no wifi" in the house become more of an "issue". We were able to find other things to do somehow and managed it.
Other than that, the house layout is great. Everything is clean. The inside looks much better & bigger than from the outside so don't get freak out when you first arrive. I like the hot tub can actually see the TV also. Kitchen is well equipped & plenty of towels.
TV is satellite so if not been used for a while, you may need to call them to update the box. That's what I did and it just a phone call away & 10-15min. Same thing as hot tub, check it yourself. If it doesn't smell right, call the maintenance guy or owner. They both respond very quickly and pleasure to work with. If we can start to get some good snow in Vermont, definitely come back again. Thanks.
We stayed this past weekend MLK 1/15 to 1/18. The house was spacious and bright! It's fit for our group of 10 perfectly! Even when it snowed the driveway was plowed right away, the only complaint is we couldn't find any salt to put on the walkway to melt the ice but that was nothing! The house overall was perfect and would love to rent again! And Marsha was amazing she would answer right away when there was a problem and was so kind and sweet! Thank you!!
We had a great time at the house. We were only there two nights for a wedding, but it was clean, very spacious, and conveniently located to a handful of event spaces, which made it a very prime location for us. No wifi though, and cell service was spotty, so that would be my one complaint.
Couldn't have been happier with the rental.
It was exactly as advertised. Very clean. Marsha was absolutely fantastic and very helpful.
Perfect house to sleep the 9 of us and have a place to relax after skiing.
Will be renting from them again.
Summers are wonderful as you can hike the Long Trail, take the lift up to the top of Killington with your mountain bike and ride the trails down, golf is 2.5 miles (public golf course, Green Mountain), swim, or sit on the deck, make use of the gas grill and enjoy the sun set. The home is only eight miles to the nightlife on the Killington Access Road, if you choose to leave. There is also a restaurant/bar within walking distance from our home. You may decide to prepare a meal in the fully stocked kitchen with a center island, large refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and many other amenities.
