Why Teri Baer chose Downtown Cambridge
For years we crossed the Choptank River bridge and drove through Cambridge on our way to vacations in Ocean City and were intrigued by its quaintness. We spent a few long weekends exploring the area, decided to purchase a home, and found our property on Jenkins Creek. We've decided to share our home as a vacation property. We hope you enjoy our home and the Cambridge area as much as we do!
What makes this House unique
Our home is located at the end of Jenkins Creek Road overlooking the water and only several minutes from downtown Cambridge with its unique shops and restaurants. Minimal local traffic make walking, jogging, and bike riding safe and pleasurable. The school and city park at the town end of Jenkins Creek Road (1 1/4 miles away) have tennis and basketball courts, a baseball diamond, play areas for kids, and views of the Choptank river. Great Marsh Park, with its public boat launch, fishing docks, and picnic areas is only about 2 miles away. Also, because of our location, you can explore the Cambridge area without the hassle of the beach traffic on Route 50.

We stayed here for the Eagleman and it was perfect! It was close to the race but also a great place to relax before and after. The house was clean and comfortable and had any amenity you could want. Hosts were so wonderful - very communicative and helpful! We would definitely stay here again!
A wonderful weekend!
We loved everything about our stay at this house! The setting was spectacular on the river, we sat on the screened in patio enjoying the water view as well as the yard and took a short canoe trip from the dock.
The house had everything we could think of; the kitchen was even stocked with spices and the living room and bedrooms were both comfortable and beautiful.
We truly had a great weekend and plan on going back.
Peaceful and bright!
We loved our girls getaway weekend at this home. It is beautiful inside and out, immaculately clean, with so much natural light coming in the large windows. The view from the living room of the river and bird life is wonderful. We enjoyed sitting in the screened-in porch, listening to the wind chimes, even spotting a bald eagle flying over the water, reading down on the dock, and next to the fish pond. The beautiful spacious kitchen has everything you could ever need. Downtown Cambridge was only a few minutes drive away, where we enjoyed walking by the marina and great restaurants. We also enjoyed a day-trip to beautiful St. Michaels, which was about a half hour drive. Teri was super friendly and answered any questions we had. We would definitely rent this home again!
Perfect Bay Getaway
Our family of 6 with three generations spent a long Easter weekend at the home on Jenkins Creek, a beautiful location. The home was spotless and exceeded our expectations, well equipped for all activities. Outdoors we enjoyed the large screened in porch overlooking the property's expansive waterfront with a dock. The pool and hot tub just off the porch would be great in warm weather. Spacious lawns and attentive landscaping made the Easter egg hunt a challenge for all. Fishing poles allowed our 8 year old to catch his first fish. A canoe provided access to the creek for two sunset excursions. Bicycles permitted early morning rides. Indoors, the wifi works well and the house has enough room to spread out. We cooked two dinners aided by a pantry with all the spices and condiments we needed. A ping pong table and fooze ball provided everyone good fun during a short rain. We visited the nearby National Wildlife Preserve for an entire day. While we did not visit downtown Cambridge, it would be well worth time in the shops, restaurants and walking the historically interesting streets. All in all, it was just too short a visit.
Great home in a fabulous location!
We loved our stay in this beautiful immaculate home. It easily and comfortably accommodated five adults. The home is on a huge well-maintained lot right on the water. We were very impressed with all the friendly people we met in the delightful towns of Cambridge, Easton and St Michaels. The owners are extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a perfect spot for us. The owners gave their home all the “ Baer” necessities. Anything we needed was there. You felt the peace by the waterfalls, hearing the tone of the wind chimes and the quietude of the water. It’s a ten from us.
