Great location, charming guest house. Thank you for accommodating us on such a short notice. We'll try to take this cold weather back to New England where it belongs.
We loved this place. Away from the hustle and bustle yet still close to the fun. The place is well-stocked and nicely updated but it really is about the feel of the whole property, private in a wonderfully laid out garden surrounding. Definitely would return, thanks to our host.
This was a great little cottage to call home for 5 days while we explored Napa and Sonoma. They were flexible with us in letting us check in early. The cottage is very private; felt safe and comfortable.
A few things weren't perfect... the cottage didn't seem to have been cleaned for us - it wasn't "dirty", but there were a few hairs in the shower that made it obvious is wasn't freshly/thoroughly wiped down for us, a dead spider visible when I pulled back the sheets to get in bed... a few other small, related things that were a little disappointing as our first impression (I won't get into it), but didn't hinder our time, and I tend to have high standards.
In general I would label this a great option, but I would encourage the manager to do some quality control checking before a guest stays there.
The cottage was clean and decorated very nicely. It had all the amenities we could want in a rental and the location was good. The only reason for the 4-star rating is the swarm of ants in the bathroom...but we found ant spray under the sink and that seemed to take care of them. The cottage is located in an almost rural-like setting, so bugs are probably to be expected. There were also some crickets or grasshoppers.
The cottage was adorable. It was clean and the location was very convenient to Somoma's Historic Plaza. The kitchen had all the necessities and the grounds were nice and private. Would definitely stay here again!
After searching every hotel and B&B in the Napa/Sonoma area for availability to celebrate our anniversary, I was ready to just forget it! I gave VRBO a try hoping something would surface. Lucky for us Pomegranite Farm was available. Our stay was perfect! We dined at two amazing restaurants. Spent a day hiking around Jack London's ranch. And, walked to breakfast on Sunday. We felt so at home in the charming studio. The views were lovely and the accommodations were super comfy. We would definitely recommend. The next time we head to Sonoma, we'll definitely stay at Pomegranite farm.
We had a very nice time at the cottage. Pluses: the light was great! high ceilings--great ceiling fan--nice kitchen set up (no stove). bed very comfortable and big. Nice Big floppy chair for reading as well. Out back was a table with two chairs as well. The bathroom was nice too. no door in the shower though. Things to improve upon. lots of the fixtures were broken. i.e.; drawer handles, toilet paper holder etc., Freezer needs to be defrosted and they are located next to a place that has chickens and a rooster that were very vocal very early in the morning and evening. So if you are not early risers take note. the internet was spotty as well. kept getting kicked out but that wasn't the point of our trip so it was fine for us but if you need your internet be sure to make sure it works. the owner was very nice. she was very non intrusive if we needed things i.e.; towels, tissues etc., and would leave it for us on a table by the front door. It was nice to be off the beat and path that is for sure. We would rent again!!!
