We purchased our beautiful vacation home to enjoy with family and friends. We hope to spread our joy to others during times when our work interferes with play.
"Luxurious condo" is a very appropriate description of this beautiful vacation haven. The elevator (located inside the building) is a few steps from the covered parking space, the condo is 4 steps from the elevator on the fourth floor, and the pool is about 10 steps from the condo door-- all very convenient. As is the beach-- you walk through the parking lot, cross Rt 1, walk one more block, and there is The Beach. As for the condo, it is one of the nicest (and cleanest) places we have ever rented. The furnishings are of excellent quality (it looks like a show home), the appliances are up-to-date, and the kitchen is well equipped. I would suggest to the Owners that they provide a large serving tray and a selection of heavy plastic/ acrylic/ melamine plates and "glassware" for beside-pool use. The tables beside the pool, with large unbrellas, are just perfect for outdoor dining. We ate almost every lunch or dinner out there if it wasn't raining. The master bedroon is quite large, and the adjoining bath very spacious. There is also a small bacony with a couple of chairs overlooking the bay, perfect for relaxing and reading. The guest room is a bit smaller and the bathroom next to is huge. The living area is like one very long room. Kitchen is in the rear with a beautiful granite counter separating it from the living room/ dining area. Just outside is another balcony, with chairs and small table, and the sunsets are absolutely incredible (I think that we took a couple of hundred photos of sunsets alone!). There's also a very convenient laundry room off of the hall. The location of the condo building is at the furthest south end of Dewey Beach. We spent a lot of time in Rehoboth and Lewes, both less than a 20-minute drive away. There are also a plethora of restaurants and shops lining Rt 1 for many, many miles. One of my favorite restaurants was that not for their food (which was good), but for convenience and ambience. To get to Que Pasa we left the condo building, walked across a parking lot, stepped over a low chain, and into sand. About 50' later, plastic tables and chairs were set up in the sand. We would sit, with the bay almost at our feet, order a drink, then dinner, and watch the sun set. It was awesome. :) The only, and I mean ONLY, problem was lack of wifi in the condo itself. But I soon became accustomed to checking my email less frequently, from the well-furnished community room.
