The apartment has two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms, closets and chest of drawers. Each bedroom also has a queen size bed. One of the queen size beds can be converted into two twin/single beds if you prefer. There is a sitting area where you can sit and relax. There is also a television and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave/ oven. A refrigerator and freezer. A dishwasher and all things necessary to cook with. The dining room table seats four but can be made larger and will seat up to eight people.
It doesn't get better than this! We loved staying here because of the absolutely awesome central location. 2 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge and a 2 minute walk to St. Mark's square.
The best part? The living room window opens onto a canal and you can watch and wave to the gondoliers going by. You can hear some of them singing! This was just awesome. It really made our Venice experience special.
This unit has been recently remodeled, and its in immaculate brand new condition. We felt extremely comfortable and enjoyed our stay here immensely.
It's on the first floor, which is super convenient. No stairs to fuss with. The building has a secure entry door and lobby. Surprisingly, the entrance to the building is off on a quiet square away from the hustle and bustle. Walk just a block and you are in the middle of great cafes, shops, and everything else you might like.
We loved Venice, and this centrally located fully remodeled place really made our stay excellent. Will come again!
This is a perfect base to visit Venice as it is located between San Marco piazza and the Rialto bridge. Perfect for two couples as it has two bathrooms attached to each bedroom with a lovely terasse off of one of the bedrooms. Best part was the window that opens onto the canal. We had gondolas passing by every day, what a great way to immerse ourselves in Venetian lifestyle!
I searched for a place to stay in Venice in April...I read the reviews for Chimney Sweep and I was impressed!! I thought they were actually too good to be true...but alas after talking to Kimberly we decided to book her rental..what a great decision...the communication was excellent...the location was excellent...Andrea met us on the first day and got us all situated...the apartment had everything you would want..having cocktails after a day in Venice and watching the gondolas go by our window was terrific...easy to get to anywhere you want to go..thank you Kimberly and Andrea for sharing your special spot with us....I also think that 5 Stars is not enough..I would definitely book this apartment again..Thank you again
The location of this apartment is perfect for seeing Venice. Even though it was very close to Piazza San Marco and Rialto, it was very quiet. The view of the boat traffic from the window was so unique and fun to watch. The layout was perfect for our family of 4. We especially appreciated the two bathrooms. The common room was a little small and dark, but the bedrooms were very spacious. We stayed for 4 nights with our family of 4 and cooked a few meals and did laundry while we were there. The grocery store and markets aren't far away. Kimberly did a great job of getting us settled in even though I gave her the wrong time of our arrival. She was very helpful and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again.
We are new European travelers so we did not know what to expect. If you are American and have not done this before it will take a little getting use to the smaller size of things. With that said.... now that we have stayed in multiple European VRBO locations on our trip we can stay that this was one of the best best for what it has to offer. In a building that was constructed likely before America was even discovered this was a very updated and Modern apartment. It is a SOLID two bedroom apartment with a comfortable living area. The bedrooms are very large and the bathrooms are outstanding. Everything is updated and new. The remodel was done very well. It has a view of the canal just outside one of the VERY Large windows. You can open it and literally say hello to the Gondolas that travel by constantly. I would stay here again no doubt. The owner is also very helpful and kind. The only critiques I have are likely an american viewpoint. We are use to very well lit homes at night. It was hard to read in the evening without extra lighting. This is not a negative on this house. I think it is more of a European thing as we noticed it in all locations. You will need to have a go with the flow attitude when traveling aboard for the first time.
This apartment, conveniently located just a few blocks from St. Mark's Place, was an absolute delight! The owner, Kimberly, was very helpful and timely with communications and advice. The apartment was so charming, with every attention having been paid to the details of the decor, which really reflected a love of Venice. The apartment was spotless and had every amenity we needed (although if we were into cooking and eating a lot of meals in, we might have needed more kitchen equipment, dishes and glassware.) The big draw for us was that the apartment overlooks a canal, and gondolas glide by all day long. Could it be any more romantic? We had a spectacular stay and would highly recommend this property for stays in Venice!
