Why Deborah Van Dyken chose Coastal North Carolina

We bought this property because it was right around the corner from where we live, and it is in a great location - in the historic district and two blocks from the downtown waterfront.

Excellent location!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was perfect for the two of us. It was a short walking distance to our boat at Beaufort Marina, shopping and restaurants. I plan on booking again for our trip next year.

Absolutely perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Lighthouse Cottages the perfect getaway for a vacation. It's was like a home away from home! I love the privacy and the quietness of the neighborhood. I was able to relax at the cottage and at Atlantic Beach which is only about a 10-minute drive away. The locals are very friendly as I walked around the marina in Beaufort. Overall a wonderful trip, most definitely will book this trip again soon!

Bright, airy and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lighthouse Cottage. My sister, daughter and I were only there for 2 nights and next time we hope to stay longer. Charmingly decorated and thoughtfully appointed, the cottage had everything we needed and more. Even though it is a pet-friendly rental the place was very clean. Thank you, Deb, for everything.
