Beautiful house with every amenity!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this house for the duration of our vacation to Southwest Florida over Christmas. The house is very well maintained and has every appliance you can think of, available to use. Pool was very clean and lovely to sit by. It is situated in a great location; close to Walmart (literally a five minute bike ride) and many other shops and stores on Tamiami Trail. We used the bikes most of the time to get around the area and to the beach. The state park is very close and has a gorgeous beach with awesome views. I would most definitely recommend this house and owner to friends coming to the area. Mr. Simmons was very helpful and available to answer any and all questions within an acceptable time frame. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Great house and location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for nine days, me, my cohabitant and our son, 1,5 years old. This is a fantastic place to stay in Naples, great location near the beach and you have everything that you need and can wish for in the house. We also appreciated all the information that was given from the owner and he followed up on us regularly during our stay. Our son needed to see a doctor during the visit, in the information that was given from the owner we could find recommendations were to go and we got the help that was needed just in a couple of hours.

Everything you need for a relaxing stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here in North Naples for just over a week with a plan to relax and enjoy our time - and that's exactly what we were able to do.

In the home there was everything you need to make the stay comfortable. The correspondence with Ed, the owner, before we went was first class. So much information provided - if you wanted to plan an hour by hour itinerary in advance you could have done it with the wide range of things to do in and around Naples. We however had a plan just to enjoy the pool and local beach which were both fantastic. We had also planned to use the bikes that are available, but the week seemed to pass us by and despite there being over 7 bikes of all sizes available, they stayed in the garage.

The beach umbrella, chairs and loungers were great to take to enjoy the sun on the Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park beach. We had read reviews of the park getting busy and the only time we saw that was on the Sunday from lunch-time onwards. The pass provided by Ed allowed us free access to come and go as we pleased. It was a great extra to have - not having to pay for each visit or feeling you had to stay all day to “get your money’s worth”.

There are many places to eat in the locality and Ed helpfully lists many of these. We however tried some chains - Chilli's, Rib City and one of our favourites - Longhorn, but with the facilities in the house, it's simple to make up dinners with the large Walmart and Publix less than 3 minutes away.

Having travelled around Florida, ending up at Ed's place was great - the beds were the most comfortable of all that we slept in on our trip. The air conditioning was fantastic throughout the house - and the remote controlled ceiling fans just added that little extra.

The pool was clean and a good size - it does go to over 6' in the deep end which is great and has beds and chairs around it in which to enjoy a relaxing read in the sun. The lanai has a large table and is ideal to enjoy a lazy breakfast around - we also sat there to watch the late afternoon rain on a couple of days.

The kitchen has everything you can think of - full cooker and microwave, dishwasher, large fridge freezer with ice maker, coffee maker, kettle through to pots, pans, pizza cutter, peeler, etc....

Plenty of towels and bedding are provided and it was great to be able to use the washing machine and tumble dryer to bring home all clean clothes.

We’d not hesitate to stay in Ed's home again - the most helpful owner we've rented from.

Great house!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this house in a very convenient area. It has everything that you could need both in the house and to take to the beach. Had a small technical problem when we arrived, which of course happens, but the owner dealt with it immediately and was taken care of extremely promptly, which is all you can ask. Very happy overall.

Owner's Response: I can only assume that we received the first review with less than 5 stars because the air conditioner failed during his stay. The review also explains that it was repaired promptly. He obviously seemed satisfied otherwise.

Highly Recommended!!

This is the third time we've stayed at this home in Naples over the last 2 years (I think this alone, speaks for itself!), and we plan on going back next March.

This is a beautiful, immaculate, clean, well-maintained property , with all the amenities necessary for our time away, except for some personal items and food of our choosing, of course. All appliances are up to date, there is a beautiful pool and lanai in the backyard, comfortable beds, and it's close to Delnor Wiggins state park, which we visited every day for access to the beach in the morning and at sunset, using the park pass provided by the owners, which allowed us to park for free (although the beach is within walking or biking distance also)-- and there are numerous bikes provided. This is by far the nicest beach I've been to in the USA.

For me, finding a home that was hypoallergenic was important, and this home fit the bill with hypoallergenic bedding, and no history of pet visitations.

Knowing that the owners are readily accessible by phone or email for questions, concerns, or recommendations on what to do in Naples is also reassuring. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, as it is suitable for individuals and families of all ages.

The home is located in convenient Naples Park. The beach is at the end of the street and there is a grocery store, liquor store and a Wal-Mart less than a mile away. There are numerous restaurants---Randy's Fishmarket and Restaurant, Rib City, and Joe’s Diner near the house plus all of the world class shopping and dining Naples is famous for. Located on a quiet neighborhood street with very easy access to major roads.

Other Activities: shopping, kayaking, boating, para sailing, shelling, spa, mini golf
