Welcome to Copa de Oro in Sayulita Mexico, a beautiful three bedroom, three bathroom villa on the quiet north side of town in the sought-after Los Delfines beachfront complex.
As you enter Copa de Oro you are greeted by tall palm trees surrounded by manicured lawns and lush landscaping. Copa de Oro is an oasis where you can leave your cares behind at one of the two sparkling pools or under your private palapa (palm leaf thatched roof structure) sipping cool cocktails. Just steps from the sandy beach and warm Pacific Ocean, swim, surf, or beach comb your way down to our local restaurants for a late breakfast or evening dinner while you watch the sun set behind the surfers. There are several excellent restaurants within a block of two of the house. The location is considered by many the best in town. The beaches are better and not crowded. It’s but a short six block walk to the plaza, yet far enough not to hear its noise.
Copa de Oro is a spacious 2,400 square foot, fully furnished, stand-alone home with a warm and inviting ambience. You'll feel right at home with tasteful furnishings and such amenities as a cd/radio/stereo equipped with a jack for your own device, Wi-Fi, books, and a maid coming every day except Sunday (included in the price). You'll also find built-in sofas which are comfy and sturdy enough to double as beds in a pinch.
The house comfortably sleeps 7 and may accommodate up to 8 if your group includes small children. There are two master suites, both with king beds and their own attached private baths. One of the master suites has a small bed that is a great option for a young child. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and two single beds with a third bathroom right across the hall. Every bedroom is equipped with air conditioning.
The newly remodeled kitchen with lovely marble counter tops, new cabinets, and stainless steel appliances, is fully equipped with refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, and coffee maker.
Should you need to wash clothes (don’t bring very many-you don’t need them!) there is a washer and dryer. There are plenty of bath and beach towels to go around!
The living space is designed for ideal indoor-outdoor living with a spacious and comfortable living room that flows into a large outdoor thatched roof palapa covered patio. Enjoy casual meals or evening conversation under your palapa which has table, chairs, hammock, and a built-in sofa. Just steps away is a lovely pool (one of two pools shared by the complex), and a built-in BBQ.
A common walkway, shared by all the houses in the complex meets the beach just seconds from your door. There is built-in seating overlooking the beach for watching sunsets. A quick, flat walk to all Sayulita restaurants and shops, and no steep hills to climb.
Features at a glance:

The casita was comfortably sized and appointed although you'll spend most of your time on the beach which is 2 minutes from your (private) and expansive terrace/palapa or exploring the town which is an easy 10 minute walk away.
Don't miss having a few cantaritos (a refreshing tequila drink mixed with the freshest juice) from the Turtle beach bar just a few steps away from the complex's stairs to the beach.
One word to those who, like us, didn't know--Easter time is a CRAZY time to be on the beach in Mexico. We left on the Saturday before Easter Sunday and the crowds had swelled each day from holiday Thursday on. When Easter converges with lots of North American spring breaks (both in US and Canada) this otherwise sleepy town and beach becomes home to 25k+ or so locals and foreign visitors looking for a patch of sand to hang out on. Think 4th of July or Labor Day weekend and crank up the volume...
If you want a less crazy, less crowded time, plan accordingly! Overall, a nice place to soak up the sun, boogie board or try to surf and relax or just relax and recharge.
Nice restaurant options close to the house too, including a very good wood-fired pizza place (with a true Italian pizzaola manning the oven) if you want a break from Mexican food for a night.

All good
We stayed at Copa de Oro for five days and enjoyed every minute of it. The house is in a condo complex that felt safe and secure, with two pools and beach access to the nicer part of Sayulita's beach. The main town area was only a short 10 minute walk away which was extremely convenient.
The house itself was great for relaxing - either indoors in the living room or outdoors under the palapa. The hammock never stayed empty when we were at the house. :)
The property owners were responsive and helpful, which helped make our stay that much more enjoyable. We loved Sayulita and would definitely stay here again!
I had the pleasure of staying in Copa de Oro recently with a group of friends. The location is perfect: on a world class warm water beach only a 10 minute walk to town. The tropically landscaped grounds include two pools for sunning and swimming. The three bedroom three bathroom house with a large living area itself allows for flexibility in relaxation. We sometimes cooked meals in the modern kitchen, but most enjoyed margaritas and guacamole on the thatched-roof palapa (outdoor covered patio) before heading to town for an evening meal. All in all, thumbs up and a five star rating from this happy guest.
We spent a week at Copa De Oro with our 3 kids and according to everyone in the family it was the best vacation. The owners are fabulous and helped us arrange transportation from the airport, a golf cart, and meals. When the waves were not good for surfing we spent the day in the pool. The house was clean and well stocked. The indoor/outdoor space is great for morning and night time meals, card playing, cocktails and just lounging. The locals are very friendly and the food is amazing. We will definatly return in the future and have already recommended Copa De Oro to many of our friends. This is a 5 star rental with very helpful owners and a beautiful house.
Copa De Oro exceeded our expectations. We had never been to Sayulita before - we loved the town, loved the beach and most of all, loved the accomodations! The indoor space was perfect for two families and the outdoor palapa was icing on the cake! The palapa hosted lounging in the hammock with a book and a cup of coffee in the morning, to private massages for those who wanted them in the afternoon, to dinners, cocktails and music into the evening.
