About Donna Lutey

MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER, BARBARA, WAS THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS HOME. IT HAS NEVER BEEN OWNED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN FAMILY THROUGHOUT THE DECADES. IT IS NOW MY TURN TO CARE FOR THIS HOME AND I AM PLEASED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU. I HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO LIVE IN THIS 'LAST BEST PLACE' BOZEMAN, MT. MY ENTIRE LIFE. I AM AS LOCAL AS YOU CAN GET!

What makes this house unique

THE PROPERTY IS NOSTALGIC TO ME, BRINGING BACK MEMORIES OF MY GRANDFATHER AND THE TIMES WE SPENT TOGETHER SITTING ON THE FRONT PORCH, SOMETIMES SILENTLY WATCHING A SPIDER SPIN ITS WEB. FROM THE FRONT PORCH NEIGHBORS RECEIVED A FRIENDLY WAVE AND THE MAIL WAS ACCEPTED FROM THE HANDS OF THE POSTMAN.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a pretty home! More lovely than the pictures on VRBO. The location could not be better, and never did we stay in such a well equipped home.

Great to be in town and walk to everything. House was comfortable place for family.

So enjoyed being able to spend time with family in this special house. With 2 adult sons living in area, we felt right at home as neighbors. Great time when Wiley (dog) could visit and sit on porch or play Chuck-it nearby at Beal Park. Grilled steaks on the back porch, played Monopoly around the dining room table, slept well in the comfy beds.

Perfect location and historic ambiance!

  • 5 of 5

This home is a wonderful gem in the heart of downtown Bozeman. Surrounded by wonderful shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, I came down with the flu, and spent all three of my days watching TV at the house. My girls were able to go shopping and out to eat because of where we were staying, which rescued our vacation. The home is very comfortable, with all of the comforts needed when one is away. We will be back. Thank you, Donna!

An extremely well preserved historic home. Donna even had a disposable roasting pan for our Thanksgiving dinner.
