I bought property in Asheville, because the mountains are beautiful and relaxing. It has quite a variety of great restaurants for a small city, lots of golf courses and a lot of adventure for my teenagers.
It was perfect for us and our pup. The fenced yard was great, we loved the hot tub, the lights around the outside of the house were helpful at night and the bedrooms were great! We weren’t sure which room was better – you hear the stream in one but have the Jacuzzi tub in the other. Thank you so much!
We enjoyed staying in your cottage in Ashville . It was secluded enough for privacy and close enough to take in all Ashville has to offer. Which is a lot. Will definitely be going again, very soon. We were able to do the candlelight viewing of the Biltmore, Farmer's Market, the outlet mall, and Ashville mall. To top it off...we were able to get on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Which I might add is approximately 10 minutes from the cottage. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy.
P.S. If you stay in this cottage...the back bedroom is the best! We could hear the mountain stream during the night...which is right beside your windows.
We loved our experience at this home! The location was so relaxing with the creek and the hot tub outside. The inside was just as relaxing!! Plus it was very close to Ashville and the Biltmore. We will definitely be looking to stay at this home in the future!
The Creekside Cottage was the perfect place for a weekend in the Asheville location and mountains! It accommodated 6 guests very comfortably. We were looking for a getaway from Charleston, SC for cooler weather, changing foliage, and a quaint town. We found all of that and more with the Creekside cottage.
We cannot say enough great things about our experience. From Michelle helping with the reservation process to Rob the maintenance worker, we were accommodated beautifully. The babbling brook behind the house was right out of a story book and made for peaceful sleeping when we opened the windows. The cottage was well stocked and had all the dishes we needed for our stay. The hot tub, the fireplace, and fire pit made our stay at the cottage even more memorable. The drive to the cottage was breathtaking and was a very short drive 10-15 min to downtown Asheville. We enjoyed Salsa's, Lorretta's, Zambra's and some of the breweries during our short weekend getaway.
We all commented on how we hope to make an annual trip to Asheville and stay at the Creekside cottage. Thank you for a much needed vacation without worry!
The Creekside Cottage is by far the best property I have rented in Asheville/Swannanoa/Black Mountain. We take trips to the mountains 3 times a year, and we will DEFINITELY be returning! The cottage is close to Black Mountain and Asheville should you want to dip into town for a meal, to see a show, or shop, but it is also far enough away to enjoy the serenity of the North Carolina mountains. The accommodations were clean and modern without taking the cabin feel away, and the sleep number beds are an incredible plus!! They owners of this property have really taken great care in making sure your stay is convenient and pleasurable, and if you like hiking you CANNOT beat this location. There are hiking trails from easy to hard that the owners have outlined for you! We cannot say enough positive things about Creekside Cottage. They only negative was having to leave!! Thank you for the much needed vacation!
nice house, great outdoor setting, thanks for an unforgettable time !!
I have stayed in the Creekside and one of the others (the Hummingbird) numerous times and I love them both! This cottage was great for my friend who accompanied me on this stay. The fenced area was perfect for one her dogs who tends to wander. As always, the cottage was spotless, had everything we needed, beds were wonderful, linens always clean and super nice, and the hot tub was so relaxing and so clean and easy to use. This is how it is EVERY time I stay there. Love the fire table too! My friend was super impressed with how nice Creekside was and she travels the world for work and stays in many nice places! John answered immediately when I was unable to unlock to front door- he has always made renting from High Country Retreat so pleasant. I have been renting their properties for 4 years or so now, and will continue to do so. My number one choice in Asheville. Can't wait to stay in one of the larger cabins this coming March to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday with lots of family:)
