I bought property in Asheville, because the mountains are beautiful and relaxing. It has quite a variety of great restaurants for a small city, lots of golf courses and a lot of adventure for my teenagers.
It was perfect for us and our pup. The fenced yard was great, we loved the hot tub, the lights around the outside of the house were helpful at night and the bedrooms were great! We weren’t sure which room was better – you hear the stream in one but have the Jacuzzi tub in the other. Thank you so much!
This house was the perfect mountain getaway with plenty of modern amenities. Our family of six was more than comfortable in the space. The outdoor space is wonderful with the hot tub and flowing stream. It's still close to area attractions, so it's the best of both worlds.
We loved the sleep number beds, hot tub, and other amenities. It was very comfortable and inviting.
My family and I stayed with another famiy and had adequate room. The property has big fields for the kids to play in and a creek to keep them entertained for hours.
It was helpful to have the book with hiking trails and restaurants. The place was well stocked and clean. Everything worked well. We loved the character and style of the place too. We'll definitely visit again!
We had a great time at the Creekside Cottage! The weather was fantastic for February and we got to use the small field out back with the family. The house was easy to find, had great scenery with the stream running through the property, and was clean and updated. The hot tub and fire-pit table worked perfectly on the colder nights. Highly recommended!
The description was somewhat misleading if you intended to hike their 73 acres, which consisted of multiple homes spread throughout the woods.. There was a nice meadow beside that allowed more open play for kids however. A large flock of turkeys came by for a visit one morning.
The property manager was close by and came to check on the hot tub the day before we left, insuring us that he cleaned and serviced it twice weekly, which was good to know because that was one of the highlights. We used the gas fire table to roast marshmallows and that added to the kids' entertainment.
The property was much closer to everything than I really expected but in a nice area that seemed remote while not really being so. The layout was easy, except for the one sleeping on the queen sofa bed, which was great, by the way, because it was air blown and so was not your typical folded couch mattress. The living area was centrally located so there was a lot of traffic until the last person was in bed.
Both king beds were very comfortable. The bunk room was good for kids, not so great for more than one adult as there was nowhere to put up suitcase or clothes.. There was a nice television in there, but no room for anything else.
Both bathrooms were exceptional and kitchen layout was roomy and inviting. Shopping was close by. Don't be afraid to book this place. Thanks so much for the great getaway for family..
