It is a first floor end unit with magnificent lake and golf views at the 3rd hole from the dining room, screened lanai and bedroom suite. The unit has newly carpeted living space, new bath flooring & vanities provides for bright and sunny open concept Florida living with a bonus room ‘den’ with pocket doors for private office or reading area. New master bedroom with large walk-in closet with slider to lanai. Dine outside on the new lanai furniture while watching golf. Included is an assigned covered parking space in close proximity to unit. Provided is the exclusive use of the separate swimming pool area with picnic tables and grills, and private tennis courts for the Terrace condo community. Golf is included with a nominal transfer fee; recently renovated clubhouse is surrounded by lakes, fairways and lush flora. This is a non-smoking pet-free unit. Had a wonderful experience at this condo and truly felt it had a "home away from home" feel. New furniture, glass wear, plates & silverware as well as fresh paint, carpet and tiles was a nice feature to enjoy while staying. Owner of the condo was very kind and always answered my calls & questions when asked. Close to Sanibel Island & Captiva, location is great, close to super markets, gas stations, malls & beaches! Great restaurants near by. Loved the end unit, seconds away from the pool and grill and parking space. Truly a very enjoyable experience and will most definitely be returning!
I travel for work and rented this condo for 3 months. It is close to shopping, movies, restaurants and about 30 or so minutes from Sanibel Island, which I enjoyed almost every weekend. It's also only about 3 hours from Orlando which I also traveled to a few times. The best of two worlds. Karen the owner was very accommodating and always called me back in a timely fashion. I enjoyed my stay here, as well as my relatives who came to visit. The condo furniture is a little outdated, and the place could use a little TLC, But let's face it, you don't go to fort myers to stay in the condo! How many hours are you really there!
We had a wonderful time and found the condo to have all the amenities of home. It was clean and comfortable with a great view of the course. Golfing is affordable and Cross Creek is close to beaches. The owner is always accessible by phone or email for any questions as well as a local contact. We plan to return here next season.
Wish we had read the prior review before leasing. Yes the place is very overpriced, it is dirty and needs much TLC and up-dating. Our biggest complaint was the black mildew on the master bath shower curtain and lanai chair pads. I e-mailed the owner about this and got no reply. There was a mildew odor in the master bedroom closet also. The kitchen cupboards, drawers and desk drawers are full of clutter, no space for renter's items. The linoleum floors are peeling up around the edges. There are many similar units in the same complex for less $$ and in much better condition. It took 2 e-mails and 3 weeks to get our damage deposit back.
Condo is in a nice community but the living space was very dirty - we cleaned for a first day we were there. You could not sit on the lanai furniture until it was washed and dried. The house is not bright and sunny - the sun did not enter the windows at all. The majority of the furniture is old as is the carpets and linoleum. Master bed was not comfortable. We moved the fridge to fix the leaking ice maker and there was mold growing under the fridge. Much too expensive for the level of accomodation. Rent at your own risk
